Tried calling this place at least 15 times in the last 2 week, finally after the 6th time on the day and rude voice picks up and doesn’t even explain I got a hold of sleep county. Confused at whom I’m talking to, I say I bought a mattress due to come in today. The rude persons says “who are you”. I said my name, and instantly she says it’s not in, is there’s anything else?!”Well obviously I want my mistress I purchased and all I hear before she hangs up, don’t call, I’ll call you when it comes in.The lack of respect for a customer was unrivalled by this rude employee.When/if I ever get my mattress from this store, I sure won’t be returning. Don’t go to this store, or try calling, they don’t want your business.

The only reason I’m rating this place 1 star is because I can’t go lower. The worst experience I’ve had in Canada as an immigrant. Walked in to get a bed and as I was checking, the person (a white lady) walked up to me and after asking aggressively what I wanted, threatened to call the police on me for harassing her when all I asked is if this is how she attends to all her clients. I asked to get in contact with the manager, she then decided to come up with a false version of events and claimed we harassed her. I will never purchase anything from here and if you’re sensible you shouldn’t either.

Excellent experience! Chetna was superbly helpful and very knowledgeable. She didn’t overcrowd us at all, gave us all the time we needed to try an assortment of mattresses, and was very practical and up-front about our spending limits. She also was able to direct us to a mattress that suited our needs and preferences. The purchasing process was straight forward and without a hassle. 15/10Note: From the looks of previous poor reviews, it does appear that this location has had a change of owners.

Absolutely pathetic lady (Blonde bob cut) working at this store who got no manners to talk. As soon as we entered she started shouting that we are not allowed to sit on the mattress without a cover and there’s absolutely no signage for that. So what do you expect? I feel pity for the store owner because with this kind of customer service and employees there will be no business.

Just bought a Sealy queen sized mattress here and had a great experience overall. It was delivered the following week. They call you the day of and give you a 3 hour window. The delivery guys told me 3pm and were there by 2:50pm- so impressed. Definitely recommend!

UPDATE: after more than one month of fight against the processes and system of this company a very nice guy Brett was able to arrange a delivery of the missing part. The delivery happened but the guys demanded a replacement item which I did not have obviously since it was a missing item they just delivered. With a fifteen minutes of phone call with the warehouse finally I had to write down that there is no replacement they can take away from me but they delivered a missing item from the original delivery. The warehouse, customer support and their processes are total chaos. I definitely won't recommend them.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Absolutely ridiculous! 3 mattresses 3 beds, does not seem to be a rocket science to deliver but Sleep Country failed to deliver every piece of our order but marked our delivery as completed despite the fact we told to the delivery folks otherwise. When we went back to complain a really nice guy helped us to arrange another delivery with the missing part. However the second delivery has failed, marked as completed too so when we went back to the store, this time a very rude, ignorant, short haired 'lady' basically sent us away with a smirk on her face. Obviously we have an useless bed now due to the missing item. Total disgrace!

0/10, worst experience in retail we have had in a long time. Will not be purchasing anything from sleep country again.We purchased a queen mattress for our slatted bed, and mentioned in store we thought we might like a box spring in case we need extra height. The sales associate recommended a box spring, and made zero mention that we wouldn’t be able to return it if we didn’t need it. The receipt stated that we have 30 days for return or exchange, and doesn’t mention any exceptions or exclusions. Fast forward and it turns out we don’t need it, and we call to try and facilitate a return of our UNUSED box spring still in the original, unopened packaging. Customer service tells us we need to go to the store, so we do. The store says there’s nothing they can do, we need to call customer service. After being hung up on THREE times by customer service, one of whom said they would make an exception and facilitate a return for me (and then didn’t), and with NO help from this store, we are stuck with an almost $400 box spring that we cannot use. Will not be returning to this store, or any other sleep country again. Spend your money elsewhere.

Thank you we have never slept so good. We bought Dormeo Two twin xl mattresses, and adjustable bed frames. So comfortable. Also the PUR cotton sheets are wonderful, excellent quality, and the aqua gel pillows Barb recommended for us are perfect.Thank you to Barb for all her patience, kindness & expertise. A professional yet strictly 'no bs allowed' experience -this location is not for window shopping!I suggest everyone visiting this location interested in purchasing to do a little research ahead of time and be prepared to describe how a mattress feels with clear words to the staff for them to help you - it is tough! Staff (Barb) was helpful and educated us about pillow posture, side vs back sleeping, and gave us space to discuss options privately.Signs on ceiling were cute - visible when trying mattresses.

Went in knowing exactly what I wanted- to run the pillow gauntlet. Barb was immediately helpful in asking about my mattress firmness, my sleeping habits (side, back, stomach), and setting me up in an apt test environment.I've slept on my chosen pillow for a week now, and it took a few days to get used to, but I now wake up without any tension in my neck from sleeping at an improper height. I had friend recommend one pillow to try out, but ended up with a different option because different shoulder widths as a side sleeper will affect how your spine aligns on the pillow. The knowledge that Barb articulated was greatly appreciated to steer me to the right choice for my build. I also snagged a couple pillow protectors; if you're spending a pretty penny on a pillow, you want it to stand the test of time.I live by the guidance of not buying cheap goods you'll use that are affected by gravity: chairs, bed, shoes, and pillows are no exception. Happy with my purchase!
