Just a posting to say thank you. I’ve been to bad dentists in the past so I’m happy to say that my visit today made me feel so different to visits to my last dentist. You guys actually cared enough to book me in to do minor work that really made a difference. The dentist explained the procedure and explained why she was doing it. It was only a minor thing but it was huge to me and you made my day. Thanks again!

I wish I could give less than 1 star! Careless services. My son had an abscess that I home diagnosed myself and the Dentist couldn’t see it a few days before. He ended up going to Cheo for appropriate treatment. I had hygiene done and felt like they were removing all of my teeth. I had to take pain killer afterwards and also ended up with gum infection.. the Dentist couldn’t diagnose a severe cavity in my wisdom tooth and it got infected 1 month after the visit. The tooth had to be urgently extracted after antibiotics. People, just find a better place to go for your oral care.

I was very happy with my visit. Treated in a professional and kind way. Booked my follow up visits quickly and at a time the was practical for me. I have had my own cleaning company for 40 years. Hats off to the essential cleaners who disinfect the clinic.

I contacted Affinity via their web form as I had a bit of chip on my tooth that was causing some discomfort.Within 5 minutes, they contacted me to discuss the problem and book me in. I didn't consider it an emergency, and even so they were able to book me in for the following morning.Greeted by very friendly front office staff and in less than 2-3 minutes, the hygienist was ready to see me.The hygienist went over my reason for the visit and was super friendly and patient. While I don't have any fears of getting dental work done, I may have neglected visiting on a regular basis. This meant a fair bit of work for the hygienist to get things cleaned up. Next to no discomfort, she checked in regularly and did a fantastic job. My teeth went from a few tartar stains to looking like new! I was actually surprised at how good of a result it was. She offered some good advice on maintaining proper dental health and really broke it down. No lectures or judgement, just friendly advice to help me out and prevent issues down the road. She even went over some of my benefits coverage with me so there were no surprises at all (not something I've had before at other offices, but very much appreciated).Moved over to get some scans and see the dentist. Super quick and went smoothly, again got to deal with very friendly staff. The dentist took the time necessary to go over his exam and address any questions I had.I was finished up and the front staff took care of billing my insurance directly. Quick and simple!All in all, I'm very happy I ended up going to Affinity. The experience could not have been better. I'll be making sure to keep my appointments and not skip out on my dental check ups anymore, and will definitely be going to this office going forward.Thanks to all the staff for making things so efficient and pleasant!

It was my first visit today for a chipped tooth, appointment booked a day ahead as an emergency and informed I will have 30-45min with the dentist.I agree with the other reviews in terms that the staff are friendly and professional. However, the service is beyond unethical, a money generating approach with the aim it seems to milk insurance and clients!I speak as a medical doctor myself, the college should interfere and address these poor commercial services!it took me more time to take off then put on my winter shoes than the time I spent with the dentist.Two X-rays were taken by the hygienist for reasons only God and they know. Of course they did not inform of the result, but for sure billed for them.Dentist spent under 3 min with me saying I need a small filling that must be done on another day. He said it will need up to 30min work and observation ( I find that hard to believe for a small filling).I have explained to him that I was told my appointment is for 45min but he said he can not do it today.Besides wasting my valuable time and ending up not getting the treatment required, the final shock was them having the guts and indecency to charge 240 cad for dental check up AND examination plus X-rays!! not bad for under 5min work :-(Very unprofessional and cheap way of doing business, ruining reputation of other ethical dentists out there! I do not understand how the College allows such practices to continue...

I went to Affinity Dental once. The dental hygienist that worked on me was very nice, gentle. However, even though I only wanted to do a cleaning, she made recommendations to do other things that was not covered under my insurance plan. I had asked her/the office to make sure it was covered by my insurance before doing it and they confirmed it was. Turns out I ended up having to pay a few hundred out of pocket because I trusted that the office verified with my insurance company that I was covered to do what they were planning to do (which was what the dental hygienist assured me). For this reason, I will not be going back again. There are plenty of dentist offices that have great reviews in the area so I will try another one next time.

Not a regular patient here but after my own orthodontist and dentist couldn’t fit me in for an emergency visit I called Affinity. They were able to squeeze me in that same day and help take care of my issue. I am so thankful towards everyone there who helped me out. Staff were welcoming and friendly; I felt very comfortable and I’m now considering transferring there as a regular patient. Highly recommend!

Friendly and professional. Takes the time to explain your procedure and fun.I had my teeth cleaned today and a check up, a great experience.My dentist is always kind and I must add they are not afraid to talk and laugh with you.I highly recommend Affinity Dental.

i was made to feel lower than dirt by the receptionist staff because THEY neglected to tell me important information i needed to know before my appointment. they laid the blame on me and treated me as though i was stupid for not having the information.i don’t feel safe returning to a place that can’t communicate with patients then treats them so poorly when they are blindsided if information that was withheld.this is supposed to be a medical facility. learn to treat people with respect or find a new job.
