We absolutely love going here - we even make a special trip down to Calgary to go see Andrew Jones for all things BMX.He has incredible knowledge of the sport and is always very kind and extremely helpful.Northstar has been to several of our events and we always love seeing them there. We’ve also been down to rent e-bikes to tour the city and they are always very accommodating - not just Andrew but all of them. :)Highly recommend them for anything bike related!

We just finished a service visit and there aren’t enough stars to give - these guys (Allen in particular) are amazing. We had a problem with a high end e-bike and Allen was able to diagnose the issue, order the part, and do the install in expert fashion and with amazing turn around. It was our first visit with to this shop but we will be back.Not many bike technicians know much about e bikes yet, so this place rocks if you’ve got one that needs attention. We’ll done Allen!

The best customer service experience I've had in a very long time! Andrew Engelleder is fantastic. He's super knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable even when you're new to biking and asking the simplest of questions. No pressure, just information.Originally, I was going to go with the Velec A2, however when I came into pick it up, Andrew suggested a different model of the Velec that would fit my needs better than the one I had my eye on- without upselling. I'm extremely happy with my purchase and would highly recommend Northstar to anyone who is looking for a new bike.

Had a fantastic time at the store and was helped mainly by Andrew and another person (sorry, didn't get his name!). I called ahead of time wanting to test ride one of the gravel bikes and they had it all set-up and ready for me when I arrived. Andrew was very kind and patient and answered all of my questions, he also helped me with new pedals and a saddle, and helped me get everything installed plus a Garmin mount that came with the bike. I also asked the other associate for help and he was also very kind and patient and answered all of my questions. Great staff and store carries different brands than the other big bike stores in Calgary which was very cool to see! I would be more than happy to purchase from this store again and highly recommend it! Bike purchase also comes with a year of free adjustments.

I decided to quickly stop at Northstar to check out the Orbea lineup, and ended up burning up an afternoon with Andrew E. trying on almost every style of bike in the shop. I wasn't sure what I wanted, so Andrew patiently took the time to walk me through all the different lines and eventually get me into the exact bike I wanted. (With ended up being the first bike he showed me)Thanks for being very patient with my indecisiveness and for taking the time to educate me along the way.

Was at Northstar bikes north east today April30,2022 and bought my first e-bike.Absolutely wonderful experience didn’t feel rushed or pushed into buying and Andrew J extremely knowledgeable and answered all my 100 questions. Was cool to meet Bandit as well dog shop keeper.It was great and love the bike. Would highly recommend this Northstar.Your the best guys

Little tricky to get to via car, easy via bike path. Great variety of goods, lot of high end bikes for road, electric, gravel, mtb, even scooters and lots of accessory and parts options, and my bias, Lazer helmets. Staff was great, friendly and knowledgeable, pricing was incredibly fair, and sales are incredible when on. Well worth the trip, will return. As a Clydesdale In Spandex it was a welcoming place which can be hard to find when you love road cycling.

My husband and I were interested in purchasing E bikes. We had many questions and Andrew Jones was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We could tell he had a lot of experience selling and servicing bicycles. He spent time with us explaining many things. We bought 2E bikes and have been very pleased with our purchases. Andrew’s service was personal and top notch!
