Very friendly staff, but explained everything quickly which was impossible to remember. Did not give out maps nor mentioned the maps of the river and points of interest. The tandem kayak was great and rafting down the river very enjoyable. The woman went on the bus to explain the bus rules like we were little kids. There were two picnic areas on the way and we watched for them carefully but did not see any. There were no signs to help us direct to the picnic areas along the river. The same woman mentioned chips they would give us discounts in the area stores but at the end of the rafting the same woman was there never mentioned or offered them again. For a person who did it first time it was not well organized. But the river was still beautiful.

Great experience of the Paris trip. Very friendly staff and detailed walkthrough. Nice conservation area too. Many people also enjoying the day on the river. Just be careful if you are canoeing, the water can get shallow and rapid at multiple spots. Even the route is mostly friendly for beginners, experience is good to have and exercise extra caution at those rapid areas.

It was a beautiful summer day when our group of four families decided to take a trip to Paris, Ontario, known as the prettiest small city in Canada. We were excited to spend the day outdoors, enjoying the sunshine and each other's company.We planned a potluck lunch and each family brought their own unique dish. There were sandwiches, salads, fruit trays, bhuna khichuri, egg omelets, beef bhuna, Kabab, different types of bhorta, and lots of snacks to munch on throughout the day. We brought a watermelon, which was a welcomed addition on such a hot day.We found a great spot by the Grand River, where we set up our picnic blankets and enjoyed our meal. The kids ran around and played games while the adults chatted and relaxed in the shade.After lunch, we decided to check out the Grand River Rafting Company. The scenery was breathtaking, and we saw lots of wildlife along the way, including beavers, ducks, and even a heron.The day was perfect, and we all agreed that we should do it again soon.As the sun began to set, we made our way back to our picnic area, We packed up our things and headed back home, grateful for the memories we had made in the prettiest small city in Canada.

Honestly it was pretty good. We got like a whole introduction of the whole thing and it wasn’t terrible

What a great lazy river experience. Coasting down the grand river, some parts do require some paddling. Views are spectacular and well worth the trip

Loved this. I had no idea this was so close to my home in Ontario. We started floating from Paris to Brant ford. It was about a 4 and a half hour float. The water is kinda brown but shallow for the most part. Lots of friendly people on the river too. It was such a great time and I would 100% do that again.

Decided to travel to the Grand River Rafting Company. It is based within the Brant Conservation Area, which has an entry fee (we didn't know this). We rented a single kayak and a 2 person kayak for our 3 year old to go in. Total cost $58 for an hour. Staff pretty friendly and helpful, but it's definitely a better idea to book first and either do a trip or hire the kayak for a few hours. It gets pretty busy with groups.Bring your own food and drink as there is not likely to be anything there. Beautiful place and gorgeous river. Saw a bald eagle too!! A good first experience in the river for our 3 year old.

Perfect for beginners! We highly recommend tandem kayak! Suitable for a couple!
