The best thing about this hotel was the super friendly staff! Every interaction from the front desk, the breakfast crew, the cleaning service, everyone was pleasant and friendly! Our suite was clean, comfortable and spacious. Pool was nice and the hot breakfast was great. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Good location on the harbor front Kingston. All the staff were very friendly and helpful with anything you need. Good underground secure parking. The rooms were clean and had everything one would need with a full serviceable kitchen. The beds were comfortable. Excellent buffet breakfast included.

Love Residence Inn. Rooms are huge and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Early check-in via Bonvoy App was great. They accommodated every request and even gave us a complimentary upgrade, which was perfect for us. The pool is just right for doing laps, with a long rectangular shape and even depth at 4ft from end to end. There is a small hot tub and exercise room too.Underground parking is limited, but loads of parking available outside. We've stayed here at least 3 or 4 times now, and will be back.

As a lifetime Plat, I've stayed in all kinds of Marriotts around the world... and this has to be one of the best for service! This was a trip for a hockey tournament, and we heard nightmares of bad behaviour and treatment from neighbouring hotels, and yet the staff here could not have been more friendly. We thankfully had a conference room for our team to spend time in, and yet the rooms were all well-kept and spacious, and staff continually checked in with us to see if there was anything they could do to help us out.Phenomenal breakfast; I haven't seen another Residence Inn (or another of their breakfast-included brands) with so many food options, and 3-4 staff on hand to constantly refill food, clean plates, etc.I've stayed in other Marriott properties in Kingston... and this is a new favourite!

A quick one-night stay to enjoy dinner downtown and simply relax. Everything was first class from the friendly check-in, spacious suite with kitchenette, a great hot breakfast and friendly checkout experience. Location is close enough to downtown restaurants and activities to walk but far enough to be away from the noise and lights.

The hotel staff is amazing. We had a conference there and they accommodated breakfast. The banana bread is to die for!! There were so many options for breakfast, including eggs, hard boiled eggs already peeled in the fridge, yogurt, bread with many spreads, fruit, juice, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. The rooms are amazing because it has a kitchen in every room. My only issue is that the balcony doors do not open. I understand people could jump, but I like the option. Also, the shower has a glass piece that sticks out to prevent the water from coming out of the shower. I hate it so much! If I were heavier, I would find it hard to shower or if I were to fall, that glass piece is the first thing I'll hit. I wish I took a picture so you would understand. Despite this, the location and views are amazing. It is walking distance to the surrounding restaurants, skating rink, and water! I keep booking this hotel because of the amenities. It has a pool, hot tub, work out room and underground parking. I love the staff, rhe kitchen in the rooms, banana bread and the 24 hour coffee and tea near the front desk.

My one-night stay at the Residence Inn in Kingston, ON was a bit of a mixed bag, my friend. On the positive side, booking was a breeze, and this place is smack dab in the heart of downtown. You can't beat that for convenience! Plus, the hot breakfast had me feeling like a fruity champion with their fresh fruit spread. Kudos to them for also granting my odd request for an HDMI cable in no time flat. Now, let's address the negative side, shall we? While the front desk associate had their polite talk on point, they seemed to have missed the memo on going above and beyond when you're shelling out over 300 bucks a night. Come on, folks, a little extra warmth wouldn't hurt! And parking, oh boy. It was like playing a game of hide-and-seek to find the poorly located lot, complete with a bug population that could give the Twilight series a run for its money. And let's not forget the water pressure, or lack thereof. It was so underwhelming, I had better luck getting a trickle from a leaky faucet. And just to add a cherry on top, they decided to keep only two elevators, with one conveniently out of service during check-out time. Talk about a grand exit, right? All in all, the Residence Inn had its pros and cons. If you're looking for a conveniently located spot with a decent breakfast, give it a go. But don't be surprised if the front desk keeps things politely cool, bugs make a cameo in your parking adventures, and the water pressure leaves you longing for more. Oh, and pack your patience for the elevator situation. It's a wild ride, my friend

The suites here are large and well arranged. We enjoyed having such a well equipped kitchen/eating area. The bed was comfortable and extra pillows were supplied in the closet. The bathroom had a large sink counter top and large shower. Nice breakfast with fresh fruit. The underground parking was convenient. The east facing windows gave us excellent views of the water and the older buildings downtown. The location is excellent if you want to walk along the waterfront or to the shops.

Nice view overlooking the water, friendly staff, good gym and pool, and good food at breakfast with large selection. For some reason, the toilets in rooms sound like planes taking off. Don't flush at night if you don't want to wake up the other occupants in your room. Or any of the rooms adjacent to yours.
