Highlite Nail Salon

If I could rate this place no stars I would. I did an acrylic full set and it looked alright when finished but by week two the nails easily lifted off. One completely came off clean like a press on nails. I've been to so many nail salons and I've never lost a nail with a new set after 2 weeks.

Nice place. Called in last minute on a New Year's Eve. They asked me to come in asap. Went in, and they quickly sat me down and got to work. He was so quick and good.. loved the job.. let's see how long the Manicure lasts.. will update the post it starts to peel off..

Went here to get a simple acrylic nail not long ago. The process was painful, I felt a stinging on my nails which was concerning as I’ve gotten acrylics plenty of times and never felt pain during, I told them the length I wanted, shape I wanted and showed reference photos because I am a brides made in a wedding and need it to be done properly. The nails ended up a completely different size and shape then I had asked for, I told them during the process to thin them out and fix the shape, he only pretended to fix the shape and never thinned them out. They are crooked and all different shapes and sizes. He was so rough that my cuticles are now bruised. On top of that, I made an appointment to get my nails done, showed up on time and still found myself waiting 20 minutes for any service. The total ended up being nearly 60$ even though there is a board with all their prices and a full acrilix set is only 30$. I am outraged by this place and will never be returning.

My mom and I have been going here for years. Best price for the best nails. Lovely acrylic and porcelain nails and a wide range of colour choice. They take care of repeat customers. My mom and I don't go anywhere else.

I've been going here for more than 10 years. Affordable and skilled, especially David, the owner. My fingernail needs are different from the average customer and he gets them right every time. Their pedicures are luxurious and worth every penny. I've tried a few other salons, but none compares favorably to Highlite.

I had the best time there. It a pretty place, well organized.

Ok so I don't do anything for myself lately so I decided to treat myself as some friends to some manicures. It was spur of the moment so we had to call around to find somewhere with space for 3 ladies. I honestly didn't have a great first impression, the area had some sketchy stuff happening out front but the place looked clean so I got full gels and my friends got gel polish. I didn't have the highest hopes because manicures never last too long on me. Well, it's been nearly a week, I've worked, played baseball with my kids, cleaned the house, washed dishes, and done everything that would normally have fake nails popping off or polish chipping but THEY STILL LOOK BRAND NEW!!! David did an amazing job! I will definitely return to highlite nails!!

Went to David for the first time today. Very happy with the service. Very friendly and accommodating. I'm accustomed to reluctantly going to nails for u in North ajax and had been fed up with their rude service . It was refreshing to say the least and David did a great job.

I stumbled upon this place when I took my daughter to a party at the bowling alley. I walked in to get a fill and loved it. The owner (i forgot his name) is extremely pleasant and does a great job on the nails. One time I went to get my nails done after work and I was really hungry. So I asked if they had the charity chocolate box I could buy a chocolate from. He said they didn't have one but wanted to know if I was hungry. Then he went in the back and brought me Hersheys kisses, crackers and water. That was so nice of him.

The absolute worst experience I ended up skipping on the pedicure just so I could get out of there. Horrible service from a lady who was rushing and pushing me around. Not to mention she didn't even cut or trim my cuticles or skin around the nails even though I paid for a manicure. My nail is stuck to my skin from the shellac and she did not clean it up by the time I was finished I was just too overwhelmed to say anything else. there were also other patrons in the store and I did not want to embarrass myself any further. the place was not very clean and there were large stains all over the basins of the pedicure sinks I guess in hindsight and I'm glad I didn't follow through with a pedicure. Would ratre 0 if I could so unbelievably disappointed
