Viva Clayworks

We were going to book a course until I saw they're still enforcing face masks. Don't know why that's a thing, but I guess it is!

These are wonderful, welcoming people. I highly recommend them as they have always been accommodating to any groups I bring in. We've always had a great time there and the staff are exceptional.

I was not very pleased and cannot recommend this place. The teacher sped through a demo piece, giving confusing instructions. When it was my time to try to make something, she was inpatient with me and kept slapping my hands off the piece telling me that I wasn't paying attention. What teacher of beginners does that?I was not the only one in the class of 7 who didn't appreciate her attitude.I also did not appreciate that she stopped the 2 hour class 35 minutes early so that we could all scrub the areas we'd been using.Maybe Clayworks has other teachers with attitudes and skills more compatible with teaching adult beginners.

Great clay studio location to learn about a how to make wheel thrown pots! Or if you prefer hand built there is this option as well!

Wonderful studio & fantastic staff. They definitely have a great selection of classes and pottery creations for sale. :) would recommend!

Amazing pottery night experience. Tutor taught the class succinctly and let us experience pottery for ourselves. Great price for an awesome experience. Fast turnaround for the finished pots!

I was a bit nervous going into our team building event here because I am generally quite trash with hands-on, artistic things, but the educators at Viva were excellent! They both picked up on our team's zany vibes right away and were quick to joke with us and laugh with us as well.We had a few stations set up and I'd say that we all employed different degrees of listening skills during the demos, but the instructors were great about cycling around the room to offer help and clarification to each of us as needed. At one point, I'd nearly destroyed the handle of my mug and one of the instructors came over to help me fold it back into place.The team here is generous with their time, joined in on our weird inside jokes, and made sure we got a commemorative team photo outside at the end.We are a twenty person team and two of our people couldn't attend at the last minute, but the instructors even made a mug for each of the people who could not attend. The value that we got for the price we paid was spot on — definitely recommend this for teams of all sizes. We're all very excited to go pick up our finished products!

We had a fantastic intro to pottery. Attending the workshop was a great experience. Can’t wait to see how the pieces turn out.

I’d like to thank the staff at Viva Clayworks for their compassion and understanding. I had a group of 4 booked for this upcoming Saturday. Unfortunately someone from the party has contracted Covid and wont be able to attend. I explained the situation and they were able to refund me even though they have a policy of 1 weeks notice. Thank you for the awesome customer service!

This place is amazing. Our work did the mug making workshop at Viva Clayworks and it was such a blast. Their team created such a fun and creative atmosphere and made the activity so approachable. Highly recommended!
