IKitchen Ltd. Cabinets & Counter

Looks nice, but our cupboard doors have been falling off and breaking pretty much right after install. Quality and repair isn't so great...it takes a really long time to get someone in to fix our cupboard doors and I don't feel like they should be falling apart so soon after installation. Take these into consideration when deciding on redoing your kitchen with these guys.

I recently had the pleasure of working with IKITCHEN for a complete kitchen renovation. the quality of the kitchen cabinets was outstanding.

Update Nov. 2ndAlberta Services confirmed that this company does not have a Prepaid Contractors License. Under Alberta Consumer Rights Protection and Alberta Government Services it is illegal for any contractor to accept any prepayment and/or deposit from a consumer on an agreement that is transacted off site from the the contractors premises.Beware. The individual Mr. Jin Xu and IKitchen are incompetent, dishonest, and irresponsible. They have taken over $8,500 of my money, have uncompleted work in my new home, and are radio silent.Update: Oct. 25thBetter Business Bureau has contacted them, and Alberta Services Is looking into whether or not the company has a pre payment license.The company finally comes through with vanity counter top albeit 3 weeks late. But. They forgot back splash and have gone radio silent again.Not to mention they still have unfinished work including : 1) the moulding around the top of the cabinetry in the kitchen, 2) installation of the toe kick on the kitchen island, 3) the 3 missing shelves in the bathroom cabinetry, and 4) the hanger bar in the hallway cabinetry.This company is careless, their sales staff Nancy and Andy are radio silent, and their GM Jin is unresponsive. Worst experience of my life.------------------Worst experience ever! They made mistake on fabricating my bathroom vanity and on kitchen design. For bathroom vanity they cut two holes instead of one. Now they want me to pay for their mistake and order another slab. They also say it will take three weeks complete. Complete and utter nonsense. Their customer service is unresponsive and vindictive! They also screwed upon kitchen design. I am unable move fridge out of it’s position because it is blocked by the kitchen island they installed. Worst ever!

We are extremely happy with our new granite and quartz countertops from I kitchen. Jin and Tan are very knowledgable and responsive and their installers did a fantastic job for us. Our island is 6‘ x 10‘ and was extremely heavy but the three guys got it in without any problems. I’ve waited many years for an update to my kitchen and just couldn’t be happier. We have used I kitchen twice before on other renovation projects and I’ve always been happy with their work. And their price just can’t be beat. I would totally recommend I kitchen.

I got my kitchen cabinets made from this company Ikitchen Ltd at location 7-1313 44 Ave NE, Calgary, AB in year 2015. I need to write this review to let people know that the kitchen cabinet quality from this company is very poor, the price is expensive.They sent an inexperience, first time installer to install my kitchen. The owners, two Chinese guys, told me that this installer was good. I was very unhappy with the result because the installer had no experience installing cabinet from this company, and he installed the whole kitchen cabinets wrong and he had to uninstalled the cabinets and reinstalled them again. Worse, because my cabinet needed to drill a hole for the socket inside the cabinet so that I can have under cabinet light hidden, the wrong installation made the hole off to one side that half of the socket was covered. I talked to the owners and he didn't want to fix it.Well not only the service was bad, but the product is bad too. After one year, the hinges were broken. I had to replace the door hinges. Then the quality of good material. After two years, the cabinet sides by the stove can't stand the heat of cooking and steaming, and that sides are showing side of peeling and cracking if I don't cover with a card board. When I talked to my friends, they said that they cooked and steamed more than I did and their kitchen cabinets have no problem.So I don't recommend to buy kitchen cabinets from I Kitchen Ltd. I give it 1 star for poor quality and poor services.

My experience with iKetchen was frustrating. It took five months to complete the kitchen and bathroom cabinets and tops. It can be done in two months. They can build regular box but not with angles. They aren't carpenters, bunch of apprentices. They have made a lot of mistakes with poor client service. The only thing is the price is right to earn my 3 stars.

The installation and post service are bad. The cabinet upper part and the lower part are not aligned. Make some mistakes on the cabinet doors. They came to fix the problem (not completely) so they claimed they are professional and very good service already, however, not all things can be fixed and they said their guy can't be fixed on a couple of items. The post service attitude is very bad. I checked with different professionals and they said ikitchen is right because they made an irreversible fault, so one thing cannot be fixed. One thing can be fixed because my professional fixed it and he didn't understand why ikitchen said it can't be fixed. Only one explanation is they are not expert. I can't list out all their problems, but I can tell it has a lot of kitchen cabinet companies in calgary. You make your choice
