I found them by accident when I first moved to the area and had an emergency with my pet bunny. I have continued to bring my bunnies here ever since. The staff is wonderful, knowledgeable and caring.

SUMMARY: if you are new to this clinic and looking for the rhdv2 vaccine for your rabbit, go to Carling Animal Hospital instead. Lynwood will lead you on for months before telling you that they will not vaccinate your rabbit if you are not a current client.I have been calling Lynwood Animal Hospital maybe once a month since June, as well as watching their Facebook page, for news regarding the rhdv2 vaccine, a vaccine necessary to prevent a highly lethal hemorrhagic disease in rabbits that has recently been found in Ontario for the first time. When I found out they were applying for the vaccine (which is not yet fully authorized in Canada) I was relieved and impressed by their initiative. They said they would be ‘prioritizing’ their current patients, which I do understand – but of course this implies that if they had enough doses available, they would be willing to administer them to first-time patients as well.On August 30th I saw on Facebook I saw that they had obtained the vaccine. I called in to ask when they might know whether they had an extra dose to spare for new clients. Again, if it turned out later that there were no doses available for new patients, I would not have held it against them and would not be writing this review.The representative on the phone told me they did not know yet, but that I could book a check-up for my rabbit in order to become a client (which had also been recommended to me on a previous call). However, she said that even this would not guarantee my rabbit a vaccination. When I said that I needed time to think about this, I was told FOR THE FIRST TIME and after MONTHS of contact that ONLY THEIR CURRENT CLIENTS would have access to the vaccine at all. As she put it, “coming in to get just the shot without being a patient, that’s not going to happen,” which was also a rude way to phrase it in my opinion.Every time I called I made sure that they knew I was not an existing client, and yet I only found out today that I have wasted months of my time. This distinction between client and non-client, since it is not based on supply of the vaccine as I had assumed, is arbitrary. Luckily Riverside South has no such restrictions, so I will be going there for my rabbit’s needs.

I bring my cockatiel here and i can say everyone who i have seen so far is extremely knowledgable when it comes to avian care. They take their time to make my bird comfortable with little treats and head scratches. Best place to bring a bird if you need vet care

March 2021: Took my 3 finches and canary for a physical. Dr. Roscoe is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to educate you as a bird owner. It's great to have such a great avian vet in this city.See pictures of us in the car after our appointment :).January 2021: Took my canary in for a checkup after she was sick over the weekend. Staff was incredibly kind and the veterinary was honest, knowledgable and thorough. She presented information with no judgement and strived to advocate and educate for better bird care. Absolutely would recommend to anyone looking for an avian vet. Thank you Lynwood!

My little parrot had a stroke and broke 2 bones in his wing. The staff eased my concerns and helped my bird immediately. They gave me so much information and handouts to look over and are upfront about costs. Even if there was another aviary vet - I would still come to this location. Thanks for all the hard work you do for my bird.

Excellent! The staff are friendly and treated my pet conure Blaze with the utmost care. Whole experience was lovely. I loved the way they interacted with her and made us feel comfortable.

Had to delete my previous 5 star review so I could add this one. I've been going to lynnwood for years for my reptiles, and for the first time with my budgie yesterday. THEY are so bloody sweet with my animals. My baby budgie was so comfortable he nearly fall asleep in doctocs Harris hands. I can't recommend them enough.

Wonderful vets, vet techs, reception staff, they're all great here! Amazing care, kind + friendly, I always recommend them especially for exotics owners (I myself am a parrot dad, and finding a good avian vet is very difficult!) Doesn't matter if it's a routine checkup or an emergency visit - they're good at what they do and they'll treat your loved ones well.(attached is a photo of my gal Freyja during an appointment - she did not appreciate being a birdrrito or the Stethoscope! Anything on her head is illegal)

Very thankful for finding this amazing veterinarian clinic a few years ago. The receptionists are very helpful with any questions and my parrot just loves her vet and the assistants ♥️
