Uplands Common Shopping Centre

I mean, it's a grocery store; however, what makes this one excel is the consistently friendly and engaging staff. The cashiers are some of the kindest people you'll meet on journey to restocking the pantry.

When you shop at this grocery store, it feels like you're with family, and the staff are your friends. I like the meat section, and now that they have changed up the veggie section, it's a lot better. Prices are decent. Sales are hit and miss.

I really enjoy grocery shopping here. The staff are really friendly, the produce is usually really good and you can find a good selection and quality meats. I think the best part is the deli counter because it's really good and now I don't have to drive to coalsale to find good deli meat.

Visited yesterday clearly the new Covid protocols are not being followed 2 tables had 6 people from work places not from the same household the person that was taking care of the bar was by themselves had to clean tables dishes tend the bar wait on tables and cashier had no time to sanitise or wash their handsGood beers good food good workers but franchise is not adhering to the Alberta regulations

This place is a little gem. Always what you need. Food, gas and alcohol. And if there is something you just can't finds at Sobies was a gas station then you can't be any closer to Walmart North just a little up the road to the east on 26th Avenue. Original Joe's now lets kids in until 8pm 7 days a week. Pizza hut has there $5 bucks $5 bucks $5 bucks deal back right now. The gas station has one of the best slurpee selections in the city with even the green flavoured bubble one, no sugar. Big parking lot with with always room to park. And if you eat to much at Original Joe's your right beside one of the nicest parks in uplands for a very nice walk.

Really? charging for paper bags ? The price was put on plastic for environmental purposes because they don't break down . But paper ROTS FAST! Charging for paper is just a MONEY GRAB !!!STOP !!!

Like the people. Fresh products are average or below but have found the prices are climbing higher faster than some other stores I shop so I doubt I will return.

Wish had more for pets they use to carry Zoe dog food. Good selection of meats and produce. Staff always very friendly and polite
