Special Delivery Doula and Prenatal Classes

If you're considering a doula, look no further. I absolutely 100% recommend Janet Harder. She's incredible and made this whole experience simply amazing. She eased any worry I had and was there for me the whole way. Her knowledge and experience is beyond what I could have imagined. I definitely couldn't have done it without her. Thank-you Janet, you're truly the best and I am beyond thankful for everything you have done for me and my baby! :)

I was so incredibly lucky that I was able to have Janet as my doula. Having her support, knowledge, her attentiveness and calming nature made my delivery so amazing. With Janet by my side, I knew that I was going to be able to get through labor without being terrified about the what ifs. Not only did I benefit from everything Janet did for me, but both my boyfriend and my mom also had the support they needed from her being there with us. We had Janet for the birth of both of our children. She was calm, kind and knowledgeable. She knows when to speak up and jump in to help and when to stand back and just be a calm presence. She fit in well as part of the birth team. Both births veered away from how we thought they might go and she was there to provide support that we didn't even know we needed. We had the pleasure of having Janet join us on our journey of welcoming our first born. She was available to answer all our questions we had during the pregnancy that new parents have. I have had Janet for both of my son's birth- 2019 and 2023. She is amazing. First birth was 12 hours with active labor 4h:13m and second was 4 hours with active labor 1h:17m. Fully supportive and was reliable! Came to the hospital right away. I'm glad I had her as my Doula.

This review is long overdue, but I had to give a shoutout to Janet!The care and support she provided was above and beyond our expectations. The prenatal class she provides is incredibly informative and leaves you feeling prepared. When the time came for baby to arrive, Janet brought upon a sense of calm, an array of pain management techniques, and unwavering support. I knew I was in good hands. Even when the birth of our baby didn't go as preferred, she remained an incredible support system following our baby's arrival. She visited us in the hospital to meet our baby, check up on me, and run through how the labour and birth unfolded to help me process it.If we are ever to have another little bundle of joy, we will happily have her as part of our team again!

My partner gave birth and I can't imagine going through everything without Janet! She was so caring and knowledgable, and went above and beyond to support and guide us through the whole process. Having her in our corner was invaluable and worth every penny... birth is crazy, you want Janet on your team!
