There is nothing wrong with this store other than not working the hours of operations as per posted sign. So, I was told by one of the employees they close early because they don't get paid to work after 9pm. And they don't open on time because they don't get paid to work before opening. First time I see this in a store. Just change your hours of operation so people don't waste their time going to a store that's not opened when it suppose to be opened.

Decently stocked. Good quality meat and produce. The strawberrys were particularly amazing, they were sold out the next day we were there.

Their chicken burger meals on Thursday are awesome. And only $6! Your choice of potato wedges, scalloped potatoes or homestyle mac 'n' cheese. Where can you eat a hot lunch that cheap. Tasty to boot!

My favorite grocery store. The staff is wonderful.But, I don't like their policy -to charge you extra if you only buy 1 sale item. I'm a senior living alone. I don't want 2 of the items, costing me twice I want to spend. Punished for wanting only ,1 item.Many single people are living with small kitchens.

Nick's Your Independent Grocer Mahone Bay
This is a small store, but it has everything you need. It was clean, a big plus and the staff were very friendly and helpful. For those of you ( like myself) who enjoy fresh seafood, but could never find it in yourself to put a living creature in a boiling pot, well the staff will do that for you while you shop.
