Great service, and very quick. Explained what needed to be done to fix my hair shears back up and had them back to me by the next day. Will definitely be using them for future sharpening.

Had 2 pairs of shears sharpened and Gil did a great job. He’s great to deal with-friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend Shore Sharp. I also just read that he sharpens blades for wool cutters-that’s a service that’s hard to find.

I am a dog groomer and I dropped off blades and scissors for Gil to sharpen for me. His knowledge and passion for what he does is very apparent! I used my tools today and was very impressed with the quality! I would 100% recommend Shore Sharp!

Gill and team are passionate and thoughtful in how they work. You’ll receive nothing but the best here. If you’re an esthetician, he’ll save your old cuticle nippers and make them brand new again! So sharp they literally send bandaids with your newly sharpened gear. Very impressed and will definitely exclusively send my stuff to Gill in the future.

Gil sharpened my son's skates and did a fantastic job restoring the blade's radius. I had a good chat with him this morning and appreciate the time and passion he puts into this craft, he knows his stuff, and I'll be bringing my knives to get sharpened by him, love that he's local too!

I have always had to send my hair cutting shears to British Columbia, so I was sceptical to try someone local, but I am so glad that I did! Gil did an amazing job on 2 of my expensive shears, I dropped them off on a Sunday and he called me Monday evening to let me know they were finished. He did an impeccable job, as good if not better, than when I used to send them to BC and have to be without them for 2 weeks. I would encourage anyone to take their tools to Shore Sharp, very professional, friendly and particular, which I am as well ☺️

My stone carving tools are beautiful and functional again thanks to Gil at Shore Sharp Sharpening Service in Porters Lake. I'm a stone sculptor and my tools were in rough shape. A friend who has used Gil's service a number of times highly recommended him and I'm so glad I acted on her recommendation, he did a great job. I highly recommend him.

Nancy and Gil are awesome. My wife is a dog groomer, and I took her shears to Shore Sharp for repair and sharpening. I let them know that she needs the shears for work, so Gil had them done next day. My wife is very happy with the work that Gil did on the shears. The customer service was excellent from start to finish. I highly recommend Shore Sharp for all of your sharpening needs.
