I'm an IT consultant, I was referred to Clearhouse by a friend. From initial talks with one of the partners was pretty good, I thought they knew what they were talking about. But, when I decided to file my taxes through them, they handed me to one of their junior accountants, who had no idea on how to save me in paying in taxes.I got hit with a $20k tax bill thanks to Clearhouse. I would advise anyone to stay away from them. Look for a firm/accountant that can provide you guidance and is more creative in trying to save you tax.These guys will just file blindly and collect their fees without actually looking out for you.

I used to have the best accountant there but we moved to another province and was told that there system won’t recognize anyone out of Ontario. I’ve talked to other accounting germs and they’ve never heard of this. I feel like I was kicked to the curb after many years of faithful service. I’m still without an accountant.
