The food and service here are exceptional. Sometimes they get extremely busy, as there are only two servers, it’s really hard for them to handle all the coming order at one time. However, they always try their best to serve everyone. It’s sad that some of the customers do not understand service industry, blaming hard working servers for their unsatisfied personal demands. If they have any experience working in a rush restaurants like this, I believe they won’t complain like that. Anyway, it’s my favorite sushi place on the island and I highly recommend the service and food here. It’s a hidden gem in Ladysmith.

Amazing lunch at Sushi Wara, as always! This was our favourite place to grab a bento box for lunch once a week when we lived here and once again today it was awesome. Service is always prompt and friendly and the food is always fresh and delicious. Great to be back for a visit and enjoy what’s always been so good for us before.

Food is always really good, however what I dislike about the place is that they want you to pay while you're still eating. They bring the debit machine to your table while you have quite a bit of food left to eat. Rushing customers is a sure way to not get tips.We were going to order a bit more to take home but they were so pushy to pay that we didn't.

Love this place! Very good value and fresh sushi. Can't go wrong with the Sashimi boxes. Sad to see my favorite waiter go... but he and his family are moving on to the next part of their lives. Will always make an effort to eat here, whenever I am in the area.

Amazing rolls! Quality food and very nice and friendly staff. Eather you eat in or order to go, if you want good sushi this is the place, look for no other. The soy sauce they give is nice and thick and goes well together with the rolls

I’ve been here many times and always leave happy, full and glad I stopped by. Haven’t been in a while and just came to have a nice supper out. This visit was probably the best plate presentation we have yet. Thanks Sushi Wara

Best sushi restaurant in Ladysmith, which surprisingly has three. Fast service, friendly staff. They serve a larger bento box for dinner, not just at lunch, which not all sushi places do. The seating is a bit limited, but I’ve rarely had to wait for a table.

We stopped by for dinner tonight and left very satisfied and impressed. Everything tasted amazing and the presentation was exceptional. We really enjoyed the mega lobster roll as seen in the picture. We will be returning :)
