Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub
We had such a great time at this bar when we were in whistler. The location is perfect, as it is right at the bottom of the gondola in the main village.The number one thing we love is the fact that the patio is dog friendly. (We also loved how nice the staff members were to our dog Peter)On top of this patio is cozy and warm with fire pits and heaters, the service is speedy, the Guinness is excellent and the food was good too. We highly recommend the gatekeeper burger and the half order or nachos which were huge!

Normally I take photos for my reviews but the poutine arrived at my table and I ate before realizing. Great vibe like most Irish pubs- except at this one you can get poutine. My daughter had fish and chips and loved it

Exciting vibe. A good band came on when I was there. A duo named Ruckus Deluxe. They played Irish tunes as well as Bon Jovi and Bang a Gong" by T. Rex - you don't hear that one very often anymore! Server Geoff was amazing! He has lots of energy

Following our zipline adventure, we were informed about a special discount at this bar if we decided to stop by for some food. Considering that we had some time to spare while waiting for a few friends to join us for dinner, we happily took up the offer. The bar provided both outdoor and indoor seating options, giving us the flexibility to choose our preferred ambiance.The service we received was friendly and welcoming, enhancing our overall experience. The food served was delicious, and they had an impressive variety of beers to choose from. It's safe to say that this place is an excellent hang-out spot, particularly for groups and individuals who appreciate a good selection of beer and tasty snacks. Based on my experience, I wholeheartedly recommend this place to others.

Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub
I am a fish-n-chips addict. I eat them every chance I get. We stopped in at the Irish Pub in Whistler on a whim and were very pleasantly surprised. The fish-n-chips there were the best I've eaten in my life - and that's saying a lot! The beers on tap are excellent too. I highly recommend the Black & Tan. The service was also exceptional! It is one of the best restaurant experiences we've had in a long time!

Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub
I've been to the Dubh Linn Gate in Ontario and this did not compare, our server was nice, although service was a little slower than expected, the table next to us was seated after us and got their food before us. I got the cottage pie and the chilli, very homey. The chilli was watery and the gravy used in the cottage pie did not taste housemade.

Food was just ok, if you don’t find anything else around this place might suit you. We tried falafel sandwich - the falafel was undercooked. The fries was undercooked and our waiting staff was polite and refried and got back our fries. The cauliflower starter was dreadful.Overall good place to drink and relax.

Delicious food and good beer! I love their roasted pear salad and the nutty brown ale beer. Their battered fish and poutine is also fantastic. The waitresses were very attentive and gave us very quick water refills and anything we needed help with.

The food here is really good!I'd never seriously considered Dubh Linn Gate because I'm celiac (severe gluten allergy). While waiting, a friend happened to talk to the host who said they had a gluten-free fryer. They also have draft cider.The location is great. Dubh is in the base of the PanPacific Mountainside facing the mountain at the base of the Excalibur gondola. They have lots of outside seating, which is nice when you're dressed for skiing and it's too warm inside OR when it's just a beautiful day and you really want to be outside.We were seated and Kim, our waitress, reassured me that I'd be fine. This made it possible to have fries, wings and other goodies that I rarely can have while dining out. We had the fries, wings, and nachos with pulled pork. WARNING: The nachos are HUGE. We're normally able to eat what we ordered, but we ended up taking home over half the nachos.Thank you to Kim for making our experience a great one!
