Had their prime rib special which was amazing, they also make a really good cheese bread and their little balls of cheese were great. For dessert I had some brigadeiro which was amazing! This is an authentic Brazilian restaurant, the owners were very down to earth and the portion sizes were huge, they really take care or their customers. 10/10 I would come back here again.

I’ve picked up food from here a few times and every time it’s fresh and flavorful. The salmon box is delicious and always cooked for your order. Do not pass up on the desserts, they are so tasty! Highly recommend.

We visited as a family, and the food was great! Everything came quick, and tasted fresh. Leandro was very kind, and was having a great conversation with us. The restaurant itself was very clean and cozy. We will definitely be back, and recommend it to others from now on.

The pies are amazing! Great place for a quick light snack or a whole meal. My s/o and I were lucky enough to walk in while they were fresh out of the oven :) We tried the shrimp pie, and veggie pie, both were fantastic coupled with the fresh salad. Service was lovely, prices were great, the atmosphere was relaxed, and on top of that the restaurant was super clean! We're excited to go back and try some other items on the menu. If it's your first time, we highly recommend trying some pies!

5/5I've had the pao de queijo and their feijoada. I’ve been trying to try Brazilian food for a minute and the opportunity presented itself. The pao de queijo was unlike anything I’ve personally ever had, a really cool combo of cheesy and chewy which was fun and satisfying to eat. The feijoada was also cool, the stew itself wasn’t super flavourful itself but the accompaniments made up for it. Super tender pork and black beans, with an acidic tomato salsa/vinaigrette, herbed ground and crunchy cassava, and some kale and rice made a great meal for the rainy weather that was going on. Every component was served separately so I could also make my own bites and switch up the flavours myself. The dude running the place was also super nice and friendly. We were small talking and such, and he also blessed me the pao de queijo when I was a little short with the cash I had on me the first time I came. Honestly what prompted me to come back and get the feijoada. Kind of place that makes me love being a Torontonian, cool people representing their heritage and everyone being able to share in and appreciate it.

Very unpleasant takeout experience. Ordered 3 saladsand 2 had hairs in them. When we saw the first hair we tried to overlook it and proceed, but couldn’t after a second hair in the second salad and the discovery that all 3 salads were inedibly wilted. I hope this review reaches the right person and they can improve on quality control of the fresh greens and hairnets. The chopped vegetables were in pretty good shape and the amount of veggies they offer are generous. Improvements to the food quality seem doable with attention to hygiene.

Authentic Brasilian food that warmed us up, both our bellies and our soul! (Note the scraped clean plates in the pic:) The owners are amazing people who truly make quality meals. We will be coming back many times to enjoy this home kitchen away from home.

We ate lunch at Casa Tropical and it was amazing! The food was delicious, the staff were super cool, and it felt like we were travelling to Brazil. Will definitely be back!

Amazing food made with love! Everything was so delicious! I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The owner is very sweet and made us feel at home. He explained each dish with so much passion, it made the experience so delightful. Can’t wait to come back! :) Also, remember to order directly from restaurants and try to stay away from ordering through apps to support local businesses!
