Sherbrooke Provincial Park
Nice little park. Easy access to the river. Only negative is that there are no garbage cans so if you go for a picnic, you’ll have to take your garbage with you

Small roadside provincial park with picnic tables under ancient pine trees. St Mary's River adds great angling for brown trout.

Too many tourists. Excellent food, lots to see, from here (for a best time) one must travel coastline south to Yarmouth, or north to ingonish Beach Cape breton

The reviews and photos posted for this park are incorrect, and are actually for Peggy's Cove Nova Scotia instead. They will only lead to confusing people and misleading them. This is simply a small, side of the road pull-off picnic park along side the Marine Drive near Sherbrooke Village. It is nowhere near Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, and nowhere near the ocean. The photos posted by Tim Meisner are for Peggy's Cove Nova Scotia, which is on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, while this park in on the Eastern Shore, about a 3-4 hour drive away from the posted photos. I will post some real photos. We love the picnic park. It is never busy or crowded. It sits quietly along the river, and has covered picnic tables. No washrooms or outhouses, but there are two just across the road at the museum for your easy access. We stop here frequently when we are driving through the area.
