Really bad experience here unfortunately. Had heard things had gone down hill but definitely won’t be back.Waited 1 hour 30 mins after ordering food & it came stone cold. We also ordered chips and guac which didn’t come after an hour (this should literally take 15 mins max to arrive) so we removed them from our order. We were told the manager would speak to us about our bill so we waited 30 mins only to be brought our bill, no sign of the manager. 15% off for everyone (we requested a discount) which is appreciated but the least that should have been done and the lack of communication on their end was shocking!Food also came incorrectly for multiple people, bills weren’t accurate for multiple people, really bad experience overall. Their reasoning for slow food was uber eats orders? If you guys are doing a dark kitchen, fine, but please staff it / manage it correctly. It makes no sense that people ordering food off of an app are getting fresher food than the people actually in the bar buying alcohol and spending money in your barNot the servers fault, obviously extremely badly managed. I would not recommend here to anybody, it used to be a great place too

I just stopped on for Happy Hour Margaritas but I plan on coming back! The drinks were fantastic; just the right amount of boozy and they accommodated my request for a full salt rim- yay! Wasn't hungry at the time but I need to come back and hope some veggie options! Service was great- attentive without being in my face or having to dance for attention lol. Everyone looked like they were having fun too which does make a difference to me. I rarely go back to a place even if food and drink is great, if the vibe is toxic.If this place had a patio it would be at the top of my list. Ah who am I kidding? I'm coming back regardless. (5 stars once I try the food!)

Took my mom and dad here for Father’s Day, and Mom’s birthday, sat at the window bar. We had some fantastic tacos and tasty margaritas! I’m confused by these poor reviews because I thought it was awesome. The service was quick, the food was great, and the people watching was fun! Definitely my new favourite taco spot!

This place use to be great. The new owners haven't changed anything except for bringing in disrespect towards staff and patrons. The staff and regulars have all left due towards negativity leaving the atmosphere feeling bleak and unwelcoming.

Love this spot!! Perfect place for a delicious cocktail and taco night with friends. Love the atmosphere/music and the staff are super friendly and service is great. This might just be my new fave place on Main Street. :) Definitely recommend!!

Really enjoyed the atmosphere, music, drinks, food here hence 5 stars! A bar, taco bar, and serving mostly Mexican food but with a modern twist...Happy Hour during the week and all day Sunday, great prices, the food is served up quick from the kitchen & is tasty. My only complaint is there needs to be more servers for when it gets really busy to alleviate a long wait for service ( plus the servers are run off their feet). Like a vacation on Main Street! Bon appetite!

Clay and I love this place sooo much - we always bring our out of town friends here! Drinks are always good & the chicken burger is yum as hell. Also Justin plays good music thank you Justin !!

Have been to Alphabet City YVR several times since the change of ownership and had a great meal each time. A little confession to make: on more than one occasion (okay, most times) I've had the beef birria tacos. The BEST! I'm quite possibly addicted. The guacamole is very good too, as is the carne asada burrito, and I've mooched poutine from my wife's plate which was a reasonable interpretation of roadside 'patate frite' trucks in Quebec. Good fries, gravy was rich but not overly so and of course cheese curds were fresh and just the right texture.The wait staff and bar staff at Alphabet City are consistently attentive and enthusiastic and the kitchen staff do an astounding job. While it's true the new owners have had some staffing challenges, it's safe to ignore the dubious negative reviews posted by disgruntled former staff.

Stopped by for late night tacos on Friday! My husband and I really enjoyed the drinks and tacos! I liked the shrimps taco the most. He liked the Birria ones! His Paloma drink was really good! Great service too! Will be back when I crave late night tacos!
