Lake Country Auto

Had a plan to drive early morning from Kelowna to Edmonton, unfortunately brake pad completely gone and start making grinding noise. Took to lake country auto. Staff were just amazing, very reasonable price, trustworthy mechanic. John is best mechanic, he just completed all the work including ordering parts less than couple hours. Finally I was Able to get back home on time. Thank you all staff.

Lovely couple who were kind enough to look at our camper at short notice as we were having trouble on our way to Vancouver. John took the time to explain the issues and was very honest without pushing any unecessary repairs, highly recommend!

My father-in-law started having issues with leakage from his radiator on Highway 97. Even though the shop was closed, the kind folks at Lake Country Auto Repair, took a look at his truck and was able to get the part and the engine fixed within less than 24 hours. They really go above and beyond in their customer service. My father-in-law wasn’t able to get a taxi to come and pick him up in Lake Country, so he called the shop and asked if someone from the shop could come and get him, and they did!

My Gf was coming into Kelowna to pick me up from the airport on a Wednesday night. She had just gotten into lake country the serpentine belt blew apart on our 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee. We spent the night at a hotel and were stranded in Lake Country the next day, as I had no tools and the belt is a bit complicated to changes as this was the diesel model. I called around a few shops and most couldn’t help until I called Lake Country Auto. The owner and his wife were very pleasant people and said they were booked up for a week (especially as this was just before July long weekend) but to bring it over and they could see if they could help us get on the road. John the owner stayed late after hours to replace the belt and help us get back to Nakusp that night. We are very grateful. Don’t hesitate to take your vehicle here, they treated me very well and were fantastic to talk to.

Dwayne was a lifesaver for me, my vehicle took a blew a tire, he was the only shop I called that answered. I was in a full panic bc this is also my work vehicle. They took it in and replaced my tires, then he let me know that I needed a new wheel bearing (which was missed last time I went to the dealership) and brakes, which I knew would be coming soon. They are very thorough and got my vehicle back on the road before their original quoted time. My vehicle is driving so quiet now! I highly recommend

These guys are awesome all around. Called just before closing time and they got me going right away. No questions, no negativity even though it took them half hour past closing. All smiles and happy to help. 100% recommend to anyone. Seriously can't thank them enough.

THE BEST SERVICE I've ever gotten. Dwayne is honest, reliable & it didn't break the bank to have my car fixed. He will explain and show a person what's wrong with their vehicle and what was fixed - He noted my concerns and addressed each one. He takes the time to make sure we as a customer understand what they worked on. I am super happy with the service and will be back any time I need work done on my vehicle.

So grateful for this gem in our community. John and Heather were a huge help with my Toyota when it was acting up. They took my car immediately and had me up and running the next morning. Thanks for the incredible customer service!
