Mission Thrift Store

The only problem with this store is that I ALWAYS find something to buy that I don't need!

It is a great store, clean, smartly decorated and a lot of good deals. It is also a great place to volunteer one or two times a week to see what you can do for others, God's work.

Stood in line for 10 mins to ask someone to come and show me something in the display. Lady said she would call someone. When she called the manager, the manager would not show me anything because there was a line up. The line up I already waited in. So everyone in line who came after me was served first. Have now stood here another 10 minutes. Wow.

Agreeing with a lot of the other posts here. Felt like you were treated as a crook. This place closed at 5 PM yet they close their changing rooms at 4 PM. Ironically it appeared as though a soup kitchen was being held across the parking lot at the salvation army around 4 PM Ironic? Or just planned? Thinking homeless people will be stealing from them or something? The dress shoes I did buy were a tough decision, Since they zip tie the shoes together, making it nearly impossible to try on a pair of shoes. Upsetting. I needed a few last minute dress suit items for a funeral. I was with my daughter, I asked a staff member is it possible i can use the change room. NO changes rooms are closed at 4 PM. What an awful way to run a business that is there to serve the community and people in need. I ended up going to talize to buy the much needed clothing and had no issues. I will not be shopping here again.

Great store and the prices are pretty good. I have seen a bit of an increase but still lots of items within budget. I love their showcases and how everything flows together. You do really have to look" for gems as sometimes they are "hidden" within the displays. Makes thrifting more fun in my opinion but could be an issue for others. Feels more like an antique store/market than a retail thrift store. Good job overall and staff are great as well. Give them my thanks! :)"

Interesting place, dont bother with any electronics. Not much in terms of home renovation stuff but they have a boutique clothing section and some fairly expensive vases and glassware. Security guard at the front door was a bit surprising but nothing wrong with that.

Seems they do like to collect, seen some furniture that interested us, some of the set did not have a price, the pleasant staff member asked manager and came back to tell us the manager said not for sale. Well there it sits.No sense visiting again, will stick to Facebook market place and Kijiji lol

Wasn't overly impressed with the items in the store. Some we old jackets that were way overpriced. The vooks on the other hand were amazing. $1.50 for most books, can't get a deal like that elsewhere. The staff was pleasant but not in a hurry but then again it's a small town so maybe that's why. My wife liked it but i wouldn't really think of coming back here.

Some very cool art and furniture finds HOWEVER staff have a huge attitude problem. I asked a question about an item behind the counter and the women working was very snippy and rude with her response, and made me feel very guilty for asking. Staff also sadly do not enforce rules like proper mask wearing, store capacity and no dogs.

A fairly good size store for this thrift store chain. Staff is friendly. Parking is good but can be tight if busy. I have found the odd gem in here.
