Playa Del Sol Resort

It's a maze getting around in this place but great location and amenities.

I recently stayed at Playa del Sol resort, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The pool and hot tub were not maintained properly and were both disgusting, green, and filled with garbage. Despite being there for most of the year, it seems like the resort has neglected, being stayed at other hotels around the same time their pool and hot tub were already opened and clean! which is a major disappointment as the pool and hot tub are often a big selling point for a resort.Moreover, the sauna was equally terrible, with black mold and dirt covering every surface. The hygiene level was appalling, and it was definitely not something that I would recommend inhaling. It was a major letdown that the resort didn't prioritize basic cleaning and maintenance, which impacted my overall experience.In addition to the cleanliness issues. with staff seeming uninterested in assisting guests or addressing concerns.Overall, I cannot recommend Playa del Sol resort based on my experience. The poor maintenance and hygiene level of the pool, hot tub, and sauna were disappointing, and the service was not up to par. There are much better options available in the area that provide a more pleasant and enjoyable experience.

Lovely 2 bedroom condo ! Pool wasn’t available in April .There is a lovely restaurant with an entrance outside of the building , as well as a cute little coffee shop . The price was great , and better than a hotel in my opinion ! And about the same price as a hotel ! The walk across the street was lovely at night , and the Eldorado hotel across the street has a lovely boardwalk and pub with amazing deserts ! And seating outside !

This place is one of the worst configurations of any complex I’ve ever rented. Long hallways, impossible to use the stairs, very difficult to park your car, loud, noisy, dirty the upstairs pool is a gong show. If it’s cheap, I guess it has a wonderful location, but I would not choose to go there ever again.

My wife and I shared an amazing dinner at Basil & Mint... Lovely pork tenderloin with seasonal vegetables, and a totally amazing truffle mushroom risotto... Even the pitcher of sangria was above and beyond... Very fairly priced, we will return soon, highly recommended...!

Do not stay here. I was alone in my room when my family went out and a stranger who was a grown man, had our door code, unlocked our patio door and waltzed right into our sweet when I was there alone (21 yr old female). Safe to say I was extremely startled and I’m not sure if this man watched my family leave and targeted our sweet thinking no one was still there ? But I do not recommend this “resort”. For the rest of the trip I was on edge and did not feel safe in our room.To put a cherry on top of the cake, at 12:30am the night before, the fire alarm went off and we had to wait outside for an hour just for it to be a false alarm.The rooms are not well taken care of and the beds are hard as a rock.If you think there’s a manager or a front desk that you can complain to ?? Save it. There’s one one security guard between the whole building and all they did to support us or compensate our horrible stay is offer to change the locks.DO NOT STAY HERE. you can spend $240 a night at waaay better places in Kelowna.

Nice views, out door pool and hot tub. Busy community, lots of family and kids. Rooms are nice and new.

Excellent location. Close to Rotary beach and Gyro beach. Many places to walk or practice your sports

Somewhat dated, could use a refresh but it's a really nice property and definitely will stay there again

Our condo has comfortable furniture and the kitchen is well equipped. The barbecue and patio furniture on one side is terrific but our furniture at the front entrance is falling apart. You can sense they are struggling with staffing grounds keeping and room cleaning. The pool and pool area were very spacious. The hot tub wasn't always working. The common patio areas are huge with oversized barbecues and nice furniture. The security of the building is good. This resort is not suitable for people with mobility issues.
