Given 1:star cos I can't give 0. From start to finish this place is dreadful but particularly from a H&S viewpoint.. packed in like sardines, on the 2nd floor and lift not working. Toilets on ground floor ( what about customers with disabilities?) No stewards in the toilets and they were much needed( u know what I mean?) Comic picking a fight with customer ( no it wasn't just banter). An hour ( yes 1 hr) at the bar to get a drink. Absolutely woeful

Warning: you WILL be crammed on top of each other in incredibly uncomfortable seats. This place also cancelled the show we were booked to see because the QUEEN DIED. Yeah seriously. Pathetic. That was more important than their customers.

Bit of a disappointment to be honest. First time visit on Saturday and had food beforehand. Food was decent although there were a number of screams with a few tables saying there was a rat under their table.Comedy venue upstairs could be better. From a H&S perspective it felt that like there wasn’t much room to move about. Not really a fan of cash only bars either but thankfully there is a cash point on site. The queues to the bar were lengthy so ended up doubling up orders. It seemed the compère (Rob) was on longer than acts and with there were more delays than actual comedy. Shout out to him though as he was hilarious! If I were to offer any suggestions to the management it would be to introduce a contactless payment system at the bar, cut the number of breaks down so there’s actual comedy and if there is a drunken woman who constantly disrupts the whole evening, like she did on Saturday, make sure they are moved in good time rather than have the comedian stop his set and deal with the drunkard himself. There were some funny moments during the night but between the delays and the handling of the most annoying drunk woman ever we decided to leave.Hopefully things will improve but I’d keep my money for something better.

Overall I was underwhelmed. Wasn't really impressed with the first few comedians or the MC for the night but the last two were funny. The seats were uncomfortable and the choice of soft drinks was very limited not to mention pricey. On the plus side Charlie was really helpful and went out his way to help while we were there and the last two acts did make me laugh.

What a fun night! Comedians were all consistently great which you don't tend to get at other places like the stand which can be or miss. Bar queue wait was quite long at the start but seemed to be rectified for the intervals and the staff were all extremely kind and helpful, especially a young lady with glasses on the door, Kim? Helped us old fuddy duddys with our tickets and throughout the evening was extremely attentive and funny too! Already booking tickets to go back in a few weeks!

Went on a Friday night and really enjoyed the show, class acts from all the three comedians on the night! The place was super busy, service was ok, it's a bit strange how you order and they take payments when they want. Not impressed at all with the food, we ordered a pizza which was served on our table in a takeaway box, what is that all about?? Seriously a simple plate would make a huge difference.

A good laugh, good mix of professionals and newcomers - good to see them getting a turn. Drinks a wee bit warm. Nb some accessibility issues, there is a lift, but loo is 3 floors down so takes a bit of time to get there and back in the intervals

Had a fantastic night here. The comedians were great and the staff very helpful and attentive. Wealso had a couple of issues before attending and Sinead sorted these really quickly for us through messenger. Great service

Visiting for someone's birthday. An odd experience overall. Was a cash only bar. In 2023. ATM downstairs charged £1.99 but had no choice. As it was my money didn't leave my pocket as the queue was out the door because, despite knowing the exact number of people in the room because it was ticketed, only had a single member of staff on the bar so only managed one successful visit to the bar. Settled on a can of coke because there was nothing worth drinking, draught beer was Asahi and something else, disappointing. The cardboard cups everything was served in disintegrated after 5 mins too.The food that had been agreed with the person who booked got swapped out at the last minute too.I ducked out before the comedy started because I had to get other stuff sorted but maybe that was good, that's why it's not a 1 star. Overall a very weird experience.
