Meadowcrest Apartments

Stay Away! Stressful experience as we transfer from 1BR unit to 2BR. After getting a small invoice for cleaning fee after we move out. Few days later, we receive a call from collection that we need to pay $900 since they had to buy a new oven due to the fact that they cant take out the grease. We ask to have the old one and was told that this supervisor Ryan said we cant have it. Frustrating.

I lived in the building #28 for 2 years. I just moved out because I needed one more bedroom. So I had to find somewhere else. I had excellent experience in my two years there.PROS:- I never had bug problems. I was skeptical when moving in but I never really saw any.- Maintenance service was on time. Issues were minor and expected for cheap rent, but nothing serious.- Near Real superstore, Kelseys, PIZZA, and other restaurants.- Parking is free and I never had problems finding a spot or with something else like break-in.- I was on the 3rd floor, so did not have any noise problems.CONS:- Laundry machines are not the best, especially for white clothes.- Hard to regulate hot and cold water during the winter: either too hot or too cold.- Bedrooms can be very small.- No elevators.- Sometimes the stairs and hallway do not smell quite well. (25% of the time).Overall, for the price you are paying, building 28 is ok. Have the right mindset and you will feel great there!

after the experience we had at the meadow crest apartments may have not been an ideal stay, due to some unforeseen issues. They show they can learn from their mistakes and can make sure your happy with your stay. The onsite staff were always friendly, and always happy to help when we had an issue. all is well that ends well" take care guys."

This building needs to be fixed. The floors are coming away from the walls leaving a gap along the baseboards. Electricity is on fuses which is not code. Our bathtub is leaking same with our sink they never came to fix it. Closet doors fall off and lights blow out constantly. We continue to have ants no matter what we do and it's always a thousand degrees in the apartments. On top of all this water is shut off almost every week and they barge into your apartment on Sundays. They need to redo the entire building it's honestly nasty. Dont rent here.

Unfortunately the landlords don't care about the maintenance of the buildings or the property, makes living here very frustrating.

Just moved in here in April, very quiet building only complaint is I have found used needles outside of my sons bedroom window, but I believe you’ll find things like that anywhere. Very friendly neighbour's and quiet neighbourhood. :)

I lived in 26 Gammage for one year. That was 40 years ago so maybe my review is a bit out of date.

My mother has lived here in building 26 for over 10 years. Never in her time being here has she experienced such chaos. People are sleeping in the stairwells. The fire alarms are being pulled and any and every hour. Front and side doors are being smashed and people are entering the building. Loud banging and yelling at all hours of the night. Landlords aren’t able to give any type of help or support for fearful tenants scared for their lives. Absolutely do not recommend these apartments to anyone. If she could afford to do so she would move. Absolutely disgusting boardwalk. Shame on you. Do something about all this nonsense. Also don’t give me some 1-800 number to call because my mother already has called it.

Been here since January 1st, 2020 and we’ve loved it. Neighbours that just moved in are a bit loud, but loud people are everywhere. Management and Maintenance are great, and best of all NO COCKROACHES OR BEDBUGS. London’s rental market is full of cockroach and bedbug infested buildings, so I’m pleased to find a complex that doesn’t have that issue. The premium units are also upgraded with nice finishes in the kitchen and bathroom.

My Daughter Theresa lives at 30 Gammage-third floor.I am so blessed she has found a wonderful building to live in and now is making a community of neighbours that look after each other..As her Mom who lives in Goderich and Theresa so far away in London, this place Gammage street has made my fears disappear..Thank you thank you from a grateful Mom ..:)
