Really delicious duck pot, and nigiri was top grade fresh. Price for duck pot was amazing for value, nigiri price was average given the quality

This is simply the best Japanese place in Michigan. They have the freshest sashimi in the state. I’ve been returning for the amazing duck hot pot for years — it’s great no matter it’s snowing outside in the winter or it’s hot outside in the summer.Service is the best too, especially the lady Linda!

Ordered Assorted Sashimi and Yaki onigiri for me and yakiniku teishoku for my husband. Yakiniku teishoku was a bit cold but good. Sashimi was okay. Yaki onigiri was like Koge onigiri. Completely burnt. When I flipped the onigiri, the darker side showed up. So embarrassing for a Japanese restaurant.

We visited AA and found this restaurant on Xiaohongshu. Despite some of the negative review, I still want to give it a try. We order the duck hot pot with some appetizer. The hot pot is generally good. But it’s a bit pricy given the limited amount of meat and the overwhelm Napa cabbage. I wish they can provide more variety of vegs. With this price, I may not pick this hot pot next time. Besides, the service is not satisfying. The owner( I supposed) kept talking to his friends next to our table and ignore us completely even we need help with the service, water, etc. TBH there much better Japanese food in other city.

If you want a more authentic Japanese restaurant then try here. I can't even say the name. Always full of Japanese Americans and Japanese patrons. My kids love the chicken katsu. My wife and I usually split the yuppie sushi rolls.

Absolute favorite!! It’s hard to find such an authentic restaurant in the Midwest but they did it :) duck hotpot is their MUST TRY, probably the only legitimate hotpot place you can get here. Staff are also all well-trained and so nice!!
