Le Boucan Smokehouse
Great experience! It’s a very small, cozy place with a rustic, vintage decor. The food was fantastic! Nothing beats meat in the smoker! The ribs were fall off the bone and wings deliciously seasoned. Le boucan BBQ sauce is on point! Pay the extra dollar to try all 4 sauces with the wings! They are worth it! If you don’t like spice though, drop the spicy one. Many thanks to Fariba our waitress who took such great care of us. She was helpful, attentive and very cheerful! Will def go back to Le Boucan!

There was a nice atmosphere there, the waitresses were really nice. We ordered Mac and cheese, which was average/good; and 4 burgers. For me the chicken burger that I ordered was overall too sweet, but OK. The fries were sweet too, maybe with a hint of cinnamon? We would have preferred it salty. The coleslaw was a bit different too, less mayo, sweeter and there was onion in it, which I didn't like.

Great BBQ place, great food!! A must when you feel the urge for excellent smokehouse taste when in Montreal. The food is amazing!! From the classic chicken breast with fries to the pull pork poutine.....Wow!!

Friendly service BUT the food is really subpar & dare I say gross compared to any other smokehouse bbq we’ve ever had. For the first time ever, we actually threw away the food bc it was not pleasant to eat. The chicken in the chicken sandwich is extremely dry and under-seasoned. The fries in all the dishes are just over cooked, thin and sour. You can’t enjoy the potato flavor because it’s cut extremely thin and has no substances. The coleslaw is also very under-seasoned, and mostly tastes sugary. The poutine sauce with the pulled pork mostly also tastes very sweet but the fries, again were thin, burnt, and sour so it was like eating shoe laces with sauces. The mac and cheese was the only good dish BUT the bacon was very scarce, and the dish was COLD. There was no good mouth-feel or positive item on the menu after spending 100$ on this place. Overall very friendly staff but the food is not something we will ever order again. Gross on many flavor levels

We really enjoyed our first time here. We made reservations because it was a Friday night. I ordered a ceasar and my boyfriend got a coffee. Both great! The burger was delicious, loved the fries. The ribs were nice too. I liked how meaty they were. It took about 30 mins to get our food so we found that a little long. We would definitely come back and recommend to others.

Boucan never disappoints. I have been here multiple times over the years, and I am always pleased by the service and the delicious BBQ. The ribs are tender, the pulled pork poutine is scrumptious, and even the desserts are fun! I recommend Boucan to anyone who loves good bbq.

Good spot for some comfort food. The meats tasted good, maybe a bit too much sauce on them. Would have liked to taste the meat better. The sides were ok, nothing fancy, since the center piece are the smoked meats of course. We were 4 and shared three plates. Didn’t dare try the bacon brownie for dessert, though!

Le Boucan Smokehouse
This spot is a sweet spot for anything smoked and bbq. We went on superbowl night and they had an ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT ribs special... I thought I could down a couple racks, but those ribs are HUUUGE. I wish I tried the brisket burnt ends and bbq chicken as well, everything looked great. They also serve beer and cocktails. Definitely a must try!
