The sweeps

Phoned the sweeps on the Wednesday and left a message, Gary called me back that evening and booked me in for the Friday, highly efficient, polite and a very reasonable. Arrived on time and did a through job with no mess. I would highly recommend Gary at the Sweeps. Many thanks Gary.

I called and left a message to have my chimney cleaned. Gary replied back promptly with a price and suitable time. He was very professional and had the job done in no time while offering some great advice. For such a messy job, he was remarkably clean. I would highly recommend.

Gary did a fantastic job clearing two chimneys in my house and rescuing a bird from behind my fireplace. The most lovely guy too! Highly recommend!

I booked Gary in to sweep my chimneys on the lower ground floor. He arrived early before the arranged time so I wasn't there to meet him and the builders let him in. He then swept my chimneys on the first floor, because there was some confusion about which chimneys needed doing (there was no explanation as to what that confusion was, and I had emailed him which chimneys needed doing so it was all in writing for him to check) and he asked the builders. I only realised this after paying and asked him to come and sweep the chimneys he had been booked and paid to do but he refused saying it wasn't his fault. The lack of any sort of meaningful attempt to rectify the situation is regrettable

Really pleased with Gary's approach and professionalism. Quickly alleviated my concerns regarding possible trapped animal in my chimney, detailed explanation to put my mind at ease. He's very professional, was well on time and available when it was quite urgent for us. Will definitely use Gary's services again. Thank you!

We had a magpie stuck in our chimney. Contacted ’the sweeps’ by email after trying all the on line advice and guidance we could find. We were given an appointment the following day. Gary turned up on time, was polite, calm and very professional. Took his shoes off before entering. Protected our carpets and furniture. Layed out his tools in a very orderly and organised way in a small and contained space. Used his camera to show us the trapped bird which he then managed to free by supporting it to fly out of the chimney. Cleared away and hovered up. It all took about 40 minutes. You would not know anything had happened. A top class service.
