This hotel was off the beaten path (think less commercial). I found it on hotels site checked it on trip advisor website and it had very good reviews. Normally we stay at large chain hotels with the matching a large price The price was amazing, it was only for one night and I was alone so I thought I would give it a try. Over all the place was fantastic. The room was dated, but it was very clean and quite large with a kitchenette. The bathroom was pretty small but the bed was very comfortable and the location was good. It was walking distance to a couple restaurants and really quiet on a Wednesday night. Would I stay there again? Probably! With 2 people I'd probably get a bigger room just for the larger bathroom. If you are looking for brand new and modern, you probably would not be happy here to be honest. But if you don't mind staying at a roadside Motel that has been around a while consider Blue Moon Motel, it was well worth the money!

The Energy of the place was beautiful. We will definately stay here again and make sure to tell all our friends and family too also. It was cozy and comfortable for our family. We all slept good on the comfortable beds, it was clean and we greatly appreciated the atmosphere of the outdoor space and pool. Staff was so friendly and took great care of us on our stay. Being able to do laundry was a bonus too. Close to amenities and shopping. See you next time we are in Niagara Falls!

My partner and I wanted to visit the falls and surrounding areas and stay somewhere affordable yet comfortable. I am happy to report that the Blue Moon Mattel is our new go-to spot when in Niagara Falls Canada! When you arrive you quickly notice how well cared-for the motel is. In the summer there are beautiful flowers hanging everywhere and artfully designed garden beds throughout the property. If you walk in the back there are several places to sit and relax around the pool and the picnic picnic area. At night these spaces are lit up and give a feeling of a friends’s backyard. The room that we stayed in was immaculate and very comfortable. We opted for the room with a kitchenette. When we first walked in we we pleased to find a separate kitchen and sitting area stocked with a refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, toaster and several other amenities that allowed us to both store and prepare/enjoy food as we needed. A short hallway lead to a decent-sized bathroom which was spotless. Just after the bedroom was a big comfy bed with two towel swans waiting for us. The bedroom was well appointed with a few chairs, TV, closet, dressers and places to put our belongings. We felt like we had our own little apartment. One might say that some aspects of the motel are dated and if you are comparing this motel to the places near the falls that cost five times as much then you would be correct. However, if you see The Blue Moon Motel through a different lens you realize how much love, care and attention has been put into making it a home away from home. How often do you get to step back in time and experience the way that hospitality used to be? If you long for those days, if you are fed up with over-priced chains, if you want a place that is owned and operated by people who live onsite and care about it, or if you are someone who just wants a comfy place to crash for the night, then look no further than The Blue Moon Motel.

It is a very nice looking older place. Well keep on the outside. But when we went in to our room it was a different story. The room had a smell to it. And wasn’t that clean. I stay in a lot of motels for work. ( trucking ) and I would stay in that one for work let alone a vacation. They did refund my money for five of the six nights. Which I understand them keeping the money for the first night. But when I look at my credit card statement they had already charged me for Monday nights stay on Sunday.

Knowing I was booking into an old style motel, not a hotel or resort, it met my expectations. The desk clerk was very friendly, and went out of her way to provide directions to restaurants and attractions. The room was very clean, and we saw no signs of bed bugs or cockroaches. There was some cosmetic damage to the tub, and the decor could use some updating. The bed was very firm. My wife and I found it very comfortable. For those using WEGO, the stop is directly across the street for going into Niagara Falls, and right beside there driveway, coming back.

Very friendly and accommodating owners. We stayed for 3 nights and were extremely happy with our stay there. Price of $110 per night is worth every penny. Any trip we take back to the area we will be guaranteed to book at the Blue Moon Motel.

Sort of a shady place. I wanted to book here based on the reviews but some of the reviews seemed suspicious. I decided to call about their 2 bedroom unit as I wanted to see what the sleeping arrangements would be, before I booked on their website and I am glad I did. Even though it was like pulling teeth-I was finally able to determine that the 2 bedroom is 1 bedroom. the 2 bedroom" ..the second bedroom is a bed in the common area/living area. And then they had the nerve to gaslight me.. adamant that this room with one bedroom is the definition of what a two bedroom is...I wasn't rude but I advised them that this was dishonest advertising and that this was actually a ONE bedroom. I was actually still interested in booking it but then they said I should book somewhere else.I gave 2 stars because the pool seems nice and I didn't actually stay there.."

I am honestly extremely shocked. The reviews for this motel are very misleading. Do they pay for fake reviews? I was thrilled to have found a cute little mom and pop motel for a reasonable price in Niagara Falls and was I ever wrong. Literally everything in the room was falling apart and dirty. There was so many flies and spiders. I must have killed at least 20 flies during my stay. The bed was old with pee stains all over the mattress and cover and sheets that would not stay on. The only reason that this motel deserves a one star is because their outdoor pool was nice. Although I would never ever stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone. It was not at all worth 110$ a night.
