I was a Land Surveyor Assistant at F.S.Surveying Inc. Working here was one of my worst experiences in my life.Communication is horrible, stressful, and always last minute. There are times where the “president” would email me in the morning to attend my shift, but they were seldom. Often, I would have to ask my co-worker if we would have work on the day. The president’s communication only speaks about upcoming projects, but no guidance is offered about the details on how you can prepare yourself to do the work.The work environment is based on weather conditions. You will not be working during the Spring if there is rain, or the Winter if there is snow. This job is not a good fit for you if you have many expenses to pay. You will not get paid during these weather conditions if you are still on your probation period. As a result, you hardly earn any income. The pay is low and by the hour. It is not worth it if you are looking for full-time employment.During the interview, the president anticipated a growing and fruitful learning experience in this work, which is not true. I did not learn anything at all. During the days that I was not working (due to weather conditions), I would message the president if there were other opportunities in the office that can provide learning experiences. He would say that there is nothing to do.I used to work for a well-known company, and I regret leaving. I thought I made the right choice by choosing a smaller firm, but everything was just by mouth.The service of this company may be 5/5 based on these reviews but being an employee at this organization is a different story. It is a company with a very small workforce that does not value the worker and sustainability to make a living.

F.S. Surveying Inc responded to my initial inquiry promptly sending me a quote for services within 24 hours. Farzad was also very accommodating as I had to change the date of services to align with other work that was happening. He always responded to all of my calls or returned them promptly and took his time to explain my property to me. The price for a SRPR was also very competitive. Thank you again for your services!

We are extremely happy with Farzad's services to date on our new house build. The speed with which he was able to survey our lot, which was out of town and covered in snow, was appreciated. We will be using FS Surveying for our site and grading plan as well. Farzad's services were very competitively priced and he is a pleasure to deal with on the phone and by email, responding immediately to any questions we have. I wouldn't hesitate to use FS Surveying again or to recommend them to anyone looking for a professional surveying company. The fact Farzad is also a professional engineer is an additional bonus as he is able to advise on every step of the build.
