STROUD, COHEN LAW OFFICE LLP

Our first experience with Stroud Cohen Law Office began in 2021 when we had to use their services for a real estate property. We worked with Stephanie Molinaro for the closing of our property. She was very pleasant to work with but most of all demonstrated integrity and great knowledge of the law throughout the entire process. At any time we had questions, she would respond in a timely manner and was transparent about the entire process. We will highly recommend Stephanie and the Stroud Cohen Law Office to anyone and continue to use their services for all our legal matters. Thank you Stephanie for the exceptional service you provide to me and my family.

On closing day, I DIDNT close because of the lawyer blaming the bank, and bank blaming the lawyer- no ownership or support was given from the Cohen team. I was 1 day delayed and forced to pay a fee from my own pocket.Here we are, 1 year later and I'm still treated like a nobody. I get an email that they overpaid me during my closing of thousands of dollars..... what a joke, but fine.I set up a payment plan and asked for an email acknowledgement and Stephanie can't even do that much for me. Just like 1 year ago she was too busy to help me out or communicate.PLEASE don't waste your money or emotion of trusting this team.

I worked with Stephanie Molinaro on, what I thought, was a complicated refi.Anyway, when we ran into bumps along the way, this firm took the lead and resolved everything to my satisfaction.I recommend Stroud Cohen and I would certainly use this firm again in the future.

Brutal.. Ms. Swift is very slow to respond to emails from other lawyers. I mean months. I would not recommend this lawyer for anything. I have only had dealing in with Ms. Swift in regards to Wills and Estates. This review does not pertain to Real Estate law.

We worked with Stephanie and Natalia for our house closing. Both were very professional, kind and always answered every question I had. We had a very quick closing and they made sure everything’s was done quickly and efficiently. Overall wonderful experience and highly recommend!

Stephanie and Natalia recently assisted us with a transaction on very short notice. They were extremely professional, responsive, and knowledgeable. They provided us with frequent updates on the status of the transaction and ensured that it closed on time. We will definitely use them again in the future, and would highly recommend them to others.

We used Murray Stroud's office (taken care of by Mr. Cohen) to help us with buying a cottage. Everything happened last minute and they do not return phone calls. It is a month and a half now and we have yet to have someone contact us regarding the pay-out amounts or receive a cheque for amount that is left over. We have left at least 10 messages and were promised to get a call back but never did. The law secretary has now left the office and a new secretary has taken over and July 25 she promised that I would get a call back by the 28th at the latest. I have not received a call back, nothing in the mail etc. The tax department has yet to receive notification that we have purchased the property and as a result we are paying interest on the land taxes. Very unhappy with the customer service and would never use them again.

Disappointment:I worked with Stroud, Cohen on my most recent purchase of a new home and sale of my property. I was left extremely disappointed, though it was the first time I used their services it will also be the last time.Just a brief highlight of what took place, my closing was delayed at the negligence of the staff at Stroud, Cohen Law Office and their affiliate office handling my file. The delayed closing resulted in additional out of pocket expenses and undue stress. Considering the additional expenses and delay that occured, I was under the impression that Stroud, Cohen Law Office would gladly discount their fees, especially because I was a returning client and the delay was no fault of my own, but that was not the case. The legal fees remained the same despite the delayed closing on their part.Consequently, I made the decision not to use their service again nor recommend them to future friends and family members who are purchasing or selling their home.Best of luck on your interactions with Stroud, Cohen Law, I only hope that should you choose to use their services, you do not have to go through the same ordeal I did, as it was definitely an added stressor that could have been avoided if my account was handled appropriately.

I had a commercial business deal that was pretty straight forward in my opinion that needed the assistance of lawyers. I was hesitant at first to deal with Stroud Cohen Law as i felt it may be a little over kill for my needs.After presenting the package to Vanessa (who may i say does her job very well and has a passion for all the literature reading), i understood that no matter how simple the transaction can be, proper representation is always important as she made me aware of circumstances that were important that i never knew to ask.Thank you Vanessa for a smooth transaction and i will continue to have you represent my needs.
