Love going here with the kids. They have a huge fish to check out, kids live visiting him. Fun store to be in.

Staff were knowledgeable enough and certainly friendly enough. I visited on a Sunday with mt 2 year old son and they were super patient while we worked through the process of selecting new fish for our tank. As a novice fish handler, the expertise provided by the staff to make sure we didn't select species that would eat each other, was greatly appreciated.

I have moslty been happy with my experience at this pet store.But today was frustrated when they wouldn't honour the posted price of a fish I had picked out and was going to purchase.I was at the till and it rang up for $5 more for a single fish, I went and double checked that I hadn't made the mistake and brought back a picture of the price posted and the fish name beside it. The lady at the till would not honour it, saying that it wasn't the correct price and they can't sell it for that low. I have spent hundreds of dollars at this store and now feel frustrated that they won't honour their own pricing. Mistake or not, they should always sell for the listed price.

12/10 best saff,so friendly and was able to help us figure out a delivery sevice as we do not have transportation at the moment. Absolutely one of the best pets stores around:)

I love this store! Every time I go I end up buying more and more fish and I have had some of my most exotic fish ordered thru them and they always come in healthy, they get their fish from amazing breeders and take care of then really well in the store tanks for well priced prices.

Not a huge fan of the Owners. Glad I don't see them often. Some staff are very nice and helpful, and a couple are odd balls. Well kept store. Many products are priced on the high side where other places have it for more than a few dollars cheaper.Update: The owner Ed gets creepier each time I go in. He stares you down so long it's uncomfortable and beyond creepy. If anyone else is having this issue with him, which he won't stop, please make your voice heard.

Great little store, large selection of fish as well as birds, hamsters and incredibly adorable mini rex bunnies which the ladies were so awesome and let my little hold and snuggle them. They have a HUGE store mascot fish (the type is escaping me) but seriously hug. lots of info the staff are very informative. Also sell live and frozen feeders, for those interested.

There’s bugs eating the open treat bins and the teen age workers have been de sensitized and lead to believe that that’s totally acceptable… management needs to own up to the corners being cut. Accept that it’s a bad idea to have bulk treats and treat your big infestation.

This is the pet place to shop in Salmon Arm! Privately owned and very competitive prices, support local businesses! The owner and staff will go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. They even special order in pet food for me on request, and give me a discount when I buy in bulk. To everyone at Critters, keep up the amazing work! Your passion for animals and customer service is clearly evident!
