River Park Church

I attended a Latin / Jazz concert there (so a VERY different type of celebration to ones you might otherwise find here!) It's actually a pretty nice place for a gig! decent parking over the road, nice lobby, good amenities etc.

Great place to worship. The music is uplifting, the message leaves me challenged and the people take time to get to know you.

Nice walkways, right beside bus stops and ample parking. Clean, organized. :)

The reason I have been a long-time member of this church is because it's the most caring group of diverse people you could ever meet.My own family had a moving truck accident when we first moved to Calgary (long time ago now), and my father had somehow signed a form to forego the insurance on the cargo, so we lost literally everything we owned but the clothes on our backs, and yet we had little in the way of insurance coverage. You would not believe the incredible response. It felt like we were better off afterwards than before (photos notwithstanding), we got so much from this church and the larger Christian Reformed churches in Calgary. That generosity is still evident today, but what's changed a lot and is super-cool too is how multicultural the church is now, lots of Koreans and Dutch speakers, but also Eritreans, Chinese, hispanic speakers, and the list is too long to cover. It's making me want to learn as many languages as I can in the years I have left, but still that caring core!That's called Jesus' love (and he lived in multicultural times) in action!

Calgary Jazz Orchestra regular venue

There are always many activities here. It is a vital part of the community as this church generously opens its doors to the surrounding residents.From Karate to Zumba and dance there are always lessons and events here. It is also always the main voting station for the area in all levels of elections too.With so much parking and space inside it is well-suited for all types of people.

Had a fantastic time here, felt super welcome. I'll definitely be returning:)
