Motel Châteauguay

Ive always loved this place. Front desk never bothers you. Rooms ate clean.You get what you pay for. And i wasnt able to afford much and they would let me in.

The room needs to be fully renovated and put a new look for your Guests.

Place is ok, price is ok, location is ok.only a couple of things that concern me, are the people who rent. They seem a bit criminal, and when I got to the room it had a cigarette smell. Although the guy at the reception says that he is not allowed to smoke, the smell if he was present in the room.

Staff was friendly but barely speak any English or French. I was communicating with them and it was very hard for me to understand anything. There was a very bad smell in the room. The room was very dirty, there was hair everywhere (on the floor, in the bathroom, in the bathtub, on the bed), the bed sheets had a bad smell as well as the pillows. On one of the towel, it had a brown spot. I went to the office and told them the room wasn't clean enough, he took the mop, put it in dirty water and mopped the floor (it was still dirty)... Also the internet connection was very bad; in my room, I didn't have any. I definitely didn't stay there, I asked for a full refund and I left. Anyway I would definitely not recommend it!!

Really bad motel u want a place were u can be in a cheezy horror film this it room are not up to date i dont thing the furniture bedding s been chaánge in 30 yrs very suffocating** the plus side is the dairy queen and the beach near by the location good

I’d rather sleep on the street than here, absolutely disgusting, and there were bed bugs and when we tried to tell the lady at the desk she refused to listen or acknowledge. The locks on the doors weren’t secure and I did not feel safe at all. Considering there were some very sketchy people in the parking lot. Not worth the 100$. Plus 100$ for damage deposit? Seriously the place is already so trashed how would they even notice.

When i arrived, the price was 5$ more than it was when i reserved. The bed mattress was almost as hard as wood. The carafe of the coffee maker was the wrong size. It was too small and was at least at 1 from the anti-drip switch. There was only 1 portion of coffee available and it got completely wasted because the water accumulated inside the filter container. Where do I start, when we first arrived there was a lady stumbling around the parking lot, who was clearly on something. When we finally got in our room we noticed black mold in the ceiling, and on the tiles in the bathroom. There were also very questionable marks all over the walls so you can tell that nobody has even attempted to do maintenance in the room, including a used toilet paper roll in the bathroom as well.Don’t even get me started on the bed bugs. Right as I lifted my pillow I saw a dead adult bed bug right there. Needless to say, my friends and I proceeded to leave at 2 in the morning. We will never be returning to this motel. Stay away from room 29

After staying at this place for almost an entire month, I checked in once at 6:00 a.m. and he charged me full price to stay until 11:00. Not only that, he was very insistent that I leave immediately at 11:00.Had to pay a $200 deposit, but I checked in without ID and was not hassled during my 2 day stay. My full deposit was returned without incident. My only complaint was that he would not let my wife have my phone number, which was to protect my privacy.Stayed here again for 3 weeks. Friendly staff but a lot of police activity. One day came home to an incident guns were drawn, but was unharmed. Goes with the territory. No complaints about the hotel or its staff.
