Where do I begin? Loved our cottage! Enjoyed our camp fires and loved the pool. Views are spectacular. We also enjoyed being minutes from Digby and Bear River. The owners are amazing and I highly recommend staying here. We’ll be back for sure!

Smith's Cove Cottages is the best place to stay in Nova Scotia. It is peaceful, quiet and has the most beautiful view overlooking the Annapolis Basin. Agnes and Ray are extremely welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. This is our favorite spot to stay and has become our home away from home, we even had our honeymoon here last year. If you are looking for rest and relaxation, look no further as Smith's Cove Cottages provides you with a claming atmosphere to relax.We highly recommend staying here whether you are single or with a family, it has something for everyone.

Wonderful stay late July. My husband, granddaughter & 160 pound Mastiff were treated to a sweet 2 bedroom cottage which was clean, comfortable & had all comforts of home. Spent alot of time swimming in one of the most clean & lovely pools I have been in with a view that takes your breath away. The owners were a lovely couple who took over the property & made so many improvements in a short period of time. Dog lovers # 1 in my books who set out an extra large fan for our boy. Had some lovely conversations with them both & know they are just beginning to make their journey of this property even more spectacular. Highly recommend & perfect place to stay while exploring.

We spent a long weekend at Smiths Cove Cottages in July and loved every minute of it! We stayed in Cabin 6 which had a lovely view of the water and a great green space beside it. We took our dogs and they loved hanging out with us under the big tree in the shade. We swam in the pool numerous times a day. It was clear and cool! Well taken care of.The area was really great... there is a taco (TacoCat) restaurant right across the street that was delicious and a local brewery minutes away. Most of all the owners are amazing! I had a million questions before arriving that were answered immediately in a friendly manner. Ray and Agnes are the perfect hosts and want to help in any way they can to make sure you have a great time! They saw that we brought our own hammock to chill in and dropped off another for us. We were struggling to blow up a pool floaty and Ray saw this. He came over and offered to do it for us... he returned minutes later with it all ready to go.There is a trail across from the cottages to walk along or ride bikes. It was a terrfic stay close to Digby and we will return! LOVE Smiths Cove Cottages! Thank you Agnes and Ray for being so super :)

Really a home away from home. Well maintained, clean and has all the amenities just as required for a stay. Easy to communicate with the owner and got clear instructions. I recommend this place for your next stay.

We stayed at Smith Cove Cottages this summer as part of our East Coast adventure with my wife and two girls. It was the perfect place and location for everything we wanted to do!Ray and Agnes were so nice and accommodating, they made sure we had everything we needed. We also heard this sentiment from other visitors. Everything Ray and Agnes recommend we try, see and do went perfectly from whale watching, places to eat or what to go see.The property is well maintained, the cottages were very clean and cozy. Beds were comfortable, WIFI and TV was available and worked perfectly. Our cottage also had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom.Coming back from day trips and jumping into the heated pool was awesome! It was clean and exactly what we needed with amazing views of the bay and sunsets.It's roughly a 15 min drive from the ferry and about a 5 min drive to shops, grocery and restaurants.We will be back for sure! True East Coast hospitality!

My wife and I just spent the most amazing week at Smiths Cove Cottages.From the moment we arrived and throughout our entire stay we were continually impressed with the customer centric focus of Agnes and Ray.Being new residents in the Annapolis Valley we have spent a few weeks touring the area to get to know our new home province. We are so thrilled we went to Smiths Cove Cottages for the final week of our tour. This was by far, the best week of our journey.We went to Smiths Cove Cottages as guests and we left as friends. We are already planning a return visit this Fall.Make sure to visit this wonderful gem, it will be the highlight of your summer
