Beautiful beach side park. Saw a blue heron fly in while I was swimming

This is a fun beach break for kids. The water is clear. There a a few parking spots off Ocean Ave and the rocks are smaller in that area of the beach.

Easy to access. Went for a nice waterfront walk after dinner. Plenty of food places around and overall relaxing environment.

A wonderful, therapeutic walk along the ocean.Often, you can spot seals, sea lions, river otters and the occasional Orca, Grey or Humpback.

Tons of flat skipping stones, neat rocky outcroppings, and a boardwalk leading from beach to beach with resting benches and sweet little beach houses along the way.Great swimming spot (dogs and people!).

Lovely little rock bluff at the west end of the Sechelt seaside walkway. Not much of a beach to speak of, but plenty of vista with island views and a very nice, tiered 'cliff face' of inconsequential height which can be a lot of fun to scale with the whole family (we've coaxed and prodded our dogs to jump up the almost step-like rock faces with a little assistance several times). A couple minute walk down lands you at the ever lovely and popular icecream shack, which conveniently offers doggy icecream for those of us with canine friends (seriously recommendned).Overall, despite its lack of accessibility to the actual water, one of the better shoresides on the Sunshine Coast, which as we all know is saying quite something.

A quiet walk along the shoreline, with interesting rock formations, driftwood, picnic tables, benches. Some shade also. Good view of the ocean.
