Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge
I normally fly out in the morning and have experienced this lounge several times, and it doesn’t seem to change or improve. Staff seem efficient but don’t make eye contact and don’t acknowledge you. Boiled eggs are dry and have probably been vacuum sealed for a long time. Croissants are possibly the worst I’ve ever had. You’d be better off going to one of the many coffee/breakfast options in the US departures terminal. The only benefit of the lounge is an escape from the busyness of the terminal but it isn’t always quiet either.I wish Air Canada would improve this location. Vancouver is an international hub and the lounge should reflect that.

Updates:23Jun2023Upgrades are required at the lounge. The seatings are very worn out and breaking apart. The 4 reclining chairs can not be reclined anymore, and the buttons are all broken. Quite a number of the seating doesn't have any nearby outlet, it is very inconvenient if the passenger is stuck at the lounge for longer than expected like myself having a flight delay for 2.5hrsThe Maple Leaf lounge is located in the international terminal for the USA Departure side. It has a nice view of the plane taxi areas. Nearby the gate E86. Visitors would need to either take the stairs or the elevator to the upper floor to check-in.The breakfast option is rather limited with not much cooked hot food aside from pastry. However, there is a large variety of selection on drinks.

Not really 4 stars...I gave 3.75 stars. We came in around 8:45am and found just continental breakfast...no eggs or beacons but just varieties of bread. Not a real breakfast.Space is pretty good and roomy. Pretty nice to relax before the flight. Bathroom need works.. just one bathroom stall for men's restroom. Lot better than Premium Plaza lounge.

Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge
I mean overall pretty meh but a nice place to relax, if I had to pay I wouldn't. The food selection is a couple of soups, wraps and salads for dinner or boiled eggs, fruits and pastries for breakfast. It's def no congee bar like the premium plaza on the international side of things. There are a lot of different drinks and things to choose from, including coffee, tea, wine, spirits, po, etc.I guess the pros are, you can borrow a charging block, you can self pour your own liquor and there are showers if you need to make use of them. There is a tv area so you can comfortably catch the game, if that's your thing and lots of different table types. The view of the planes is better and the staff are super nice. The airport was super warm today and the lounge was nice and air conditioned so that was a reprieve. They close at 8 but the front desk lady said it's no big deal to stay a little later.

Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge
The lounge was quite empty and so was offerings for food and dismal service. Anyone flying USA, definitely skip this and use Plaza Premium over this. Their website says premium food, if stale tortilla chips and last year's chopped tomatoes count, then sure! The value proposition on Air Canada's premium offerings on any product are weak

Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge
As I sit in the AC lounge i have time to reflect on what my continued support for this company gets me.Filthy restrooms, food was picked over and the micro buffet is too minimal for the amount of people in the lounge. Lounge has horrible air conditioning, employees are not friendly nor do they have any drive to work. Alcohol is not served until 11am which is likely due to city laws but come on, this is an international airport. Air Canada needs to take a page from Centurion Lounges.

Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge
Nice selection of drinks and food. Breakfast was hard boiled eggs, triangle shaped hash browns, turkey sausage and oatmeal. Lunch was an assortment of crudités and salads, salmon, quinoa and mac and cheese.Definitely not the most impressive lounge but holds its own.

Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge
An average club lounge. Staff are nice, but unable to help when flights are cancelled. This means guests have to go out and locate an Air Canada help desk, which is inconvenient. The club can be crowded. Food selection is so so, and the quality is below average. Coffee is not good. Finding the club as a new guest is difficult, as there are no signs to the club. Some signs would be useful. Thank you.

We arrived for our layover and had just under an hour to enjoy this amazing lounge. The food was served fresh with freshly prepared tacos which we loved. We discovered a new beer on tap that we will be sure to add to our fridge, Smithwick. The bar also had a wide range of options with a server. This was among the better lounges I've been to.

This lounge has lots seating options.Areas for snacking, areas for working and for lounging.Food options are simple but tasty. On the day we visited, there were vegi wraps, tuna wraps, salad with artichoke hearts, greens and garbanzo beans, vegi platter, couple of varieties of soup and other snacks.Alcohol is available as well as a nice selection of tea and cold and hot beverages. The facility is clean. The dining area is in an open space. Except for one very unprofessional young man at check-in, every other member of this lounge was professional, dedicated and courteous.Ignore the one bad apple and appreciate the space and everyone else there who made every effort to keep this lounge well-stocked, clean and friendly. This is a nice place to visit while waiting for boarding.
