6 Silver Maple Court

If you have any pride in you at all, you should not move here. The management is terrible, the property is terrible, it smells all the time, there are cockroaches all over, they do not clean the elevator, most of the time the elevators do not work leaving elderly and disabled people to take stairs. You are left to pay for everything regardless of how old it is. Don’t even try to get ahold of management coz if you finally are able they will literally be rude and not listen to anything you say. Every year I have lived there the air conditioning has not worked for the last hole building and they continuously say they are working on the issue. The is by far the worst place I have ever lived in my life. I dear you to check the comments and try and find one good one from anyone that has lived In This building. DONT MOVE HERE ! You can find cheaper and better by far .

I have lived in this building for 8 years now and boy do I have so much to say. Being with Vertica has led me to a lot of disappointments about this company mainly the Manger Ashley archer-bereaux. This was my expirence : we were planning on buying a new house and moving out at early stempber so my family sent a letter down that we were moving. However a couple days after we we realized we needed more time due to unforeseen circumstances. We handed in another letter saying we needed more time. We were asked how long. Time went buy and they never received and anwser from us. That part is our fault. HOWEVER on the day of the eviction the manager and Ashley archer and another man called David came to me and my mom saying we had to leave. I asked why and realize there have been a mess up of communication. I was calm and tried to explain how we did not know and our current circumstances. Ashley however snapped at me cutting me off in mid sentence and begin to raise her voice in a almost mocking matter saying “ what is happening to you is not our problem your already no longer this buildings residence you need to get your stuff and leave. I tried to explain to her that I had no place to go and that my bags arent even fully packed but once again she cut me off saying again that I was no longer apart of the building and that were we go is not there concern.” She repeated that many times to me cutting me off mid senstence in a mocking and nearly laughing tone. Like she was getting a sick kick out of seeing us struggling. I stood there wanting to cry having my basic pride as a human being stripped from me. Worst of all was my mother. My mother is a recovering cancer patient and a major depression patient. She can’t understand much English but with what little time I had left to translate to her she understood. She begin yelling at Ashley to get the hell out of my face and told her to stop forcing us over the edge. My mom has tried multiple times to commit suicide before so this wasn’t funny she was stressed and hurt. However instead of calming the situation Ashley told my mom “ you need to get out madam if you won’t listen you need to leave “ she said in a very rude and harsh tone like she was the one getting attacked. David came along and tried to calm my mom down taking her to the side calming her down. David was rather mannerful and nice. As they left I once again tried to explain to Ashley my situation and that I wasnt able to leave. I really wasn’t. She told me there was a quiet room that we may stay at. She said in a rather annoyed tone. After that David took care of everything for me in a polite manner he was very accomdating to the best of his abilities. But back to the subject Ashley archer. As a manager and a person who is suppose to be in a service business with high communication skills should you not have had at least the most basic manners? We were members here for 8 years! Every christmas we always gave the office gifts in the holiday spirit making friends and helping out with what little we can. How can you come up to me and the first word you say is “ you are no longer apart of the building anymore? Even a random stranger on the streets will have the most basic human manners to at least say it or express it in a nice tone. How cold can you be?. So just beware everyone if you do live here. The day you leave out that door or prepare to leave you will no longer be treated as a basic human being with feelings.

If there is any option to give zero star to 6 silver Maple Court. Happily I will give zero rating. In a single word, I will say Pathetic.

I am sooooo upset this the service in this building. I called over 5 times to get someone out of my payed parking space, and still waiting over 3 hours.They have no problem taking my money every month, but you have a problem they are no where to be found.

I want to give 0 star if it was possible. The management does not care about people and the service is ridiculous. First of all, there are pests in apartments (bedrooms, kitchen, washroom everywhere) and management saying one thing from last year that we will do pest control and now its end of may and THE CHEAPEST THING that they do is dont turn on the AC even in 28 degree temperature. We followed them fron last one week that when they will turn on AC then they said outside temperature is stable now....like seriously??? Are you guys living without AC in 28 degree temperature??? They dont care about people. I will never recommend silver maple court to anyone. Its totally ridiculous.

Do not live here, no matter how good it may seem. I have lived in this place for over 5 years. For 3 of them we had a leak from our AC. In the 3 years, all they did was fix the floor, needless to say, we have black mold. Its bin a few years and they still have yet to acknowledge, or act on this concern. The fluorescent light went out in the kitchen. Apparently will cost me $12 to replace. We always have ants, occasionally cockroaches. Luckily we are clean. But the best thing, is them having raised rent during the covid-19 pandemic. Along with every year sinceI moved in, when I moved in, i was paying $1200 for a 1 bedroom. Now I pay a little over $1400 and for what? Avoid at all cost!

Building refuses to turn on the AC.Happy to take our rent but unreachable for repairs/maintenance, no AC even though it’s 30 degrees out, building is filthy at all times.Stay as far away from this building and this property management group as possible

Leasing agent is very nice and friendly. She helped us a lot to make the leasing process smooth. Thank youThis is an edited version! Since I lived there for 12 months, I faced so many difficulties getting to the management office! I moved to other province a month ago already and they took the rent out for the month that we never lived in! When I try to reach them (literally 4 times!!!) Regarding the issue, they never get us back and I had to go through their customer service call centre and had to tell my concern to different person everytime. It's very unprofessional of them that they can't give you what they are promising. The customer support!! I am hoping that I get my money back which they took out for no reason. Worst management at GWRLA. Think again before you rent out here.

For 2&4 Hanover, there are no Vertica staff on-site for several hundred apartments. Only the leasing office is there, and they keep the doors locked. Service is pathetic, and when they do respond, they are rude and condescending. Read the other reviews here... it's consistently poor. Vertica has no clue how to manage properties, let alone provide any kind of customer service.

The staff never answer phone calls or emails. The wait times for a response are very long. They are very disrespectful and rude when you speak to them. The garbage bins are overflowing and smell very bad. There is always food waste and dog urine/feces all over the floors in the elevators and lobby. The building has a pest problem. There are cockroaches in the common areas like the laundry room. The elevators are always broken so elderly and disabled are forced to take the stairs. I do not recommend renting here.
