LIT First Aid & Lifeguard Training

I took my all course with Calla, during the first week on July and it was an absolute joy. She was an amazing instructor and is hands down a great example of an amazing LIT instructor. She was very helpful and gave me advice that will stay with me forever.

Calla Stevens was my NL instructor. She was an excellent teacher and so so encouraging. I would definitely recommend everyone to take their courses with all of the excellent instructors at LIT

It was a great experience. I learn a lot with my instructors and there were very professional. Calla was always there to encourage you even when your failed. Calla tips on lifeguarding are some that’s you shouldn’t let go over your head because they are quite usefully, on and off the course.

Sierra was my NL instructor and she was an amazing teacher and committed to student success. I enjoyed taking the course from her.

I took my NL with LIT and Calla Stevens is the best instructor ever, she has very effective teaching styles and makes the course less stressful and fun while ensuring everyone has proper had the training and skills, she is very committed to her students to make sure each and all become successful lifeguards. 100/10

If you are going to utilize this company, which I do not recommend, please ensure that you thoroughly read their policies. I tried to reschedule my course as I was not feeling well, and due to it not being at least three business days prior, it was denied. I ended up testing positive for Covid. It is stated that if you are sick, to not come to their course. I spoke to the owner who was not at all helpful and condescending in nature. When presented with my circumstance, he simply questioned why, at a time like this, I did not purchase their insurance add on.There was no grace or understanding or sincere attempt to rectify my concern. The class was not at full capacity, so my absence did not cost the company another client. They took my money in full for no services provided. Their policy is nonsense and impractical. I am out $105 because I was ill. Disappointing.

I just took my NL course with Calla Stevens who was also apprenticing Noelle. The combination of knowledge, experience and enlightening lifeguarding stories to learn from was close to 40 years. Not to even mentioning the plus years with Instructing on top of that. Calla is a powerhouse of a woman who is absolutely passionate about teaching. She’s transparent, compassionate, empathetic, honest, and made class a lot of fun while learning at the same time. I’d highly recommend LIT aquatics to anyone who’s interested in becoming a lifeguard or wants to learn any other lifesaving skills.

I did both my Bronze Cross combo and NL course at this location with Sierra. Sierra was an awesome instructor. Very organized, fun and knowledgeable! 10/10 recommend.

Cala was my instructor and is patient constructive and amazing. I really hope she gets to go to vegas!
