What a sweet couple who own this place. Great food, warm heart. If you’re in the area, it’s def worth going to!! Everything is delicious- save room for dessert. This is their cream puff. Also Can just stop for coffee!

Eva’s cafe is a great place, delicious food, reasonably priced items and very nice host. Food is delicious , we had breakfast and it was amazing! Their homemade donuts are absolutely delicious! A must try if you are around Round Lake area!

Last September we stopped to get some lunch before we headed into Bonnchere Park ... and I am still thinking about the delicious Caesar Salad with Grilled Halloumi Cheese I ate at Eva's Cafe. The salad was so fresh and nicely dressed and the grilled Halloumi cheese ...imagine a cross between Feta and Fresh Curd grilled.... YUM! I wish I didn't live so far away...but I might just have to make a day trip to stop in again.

This place is a hidden gem!! Definitely recommend this place or anyone who wants to get away or just enjoy some homemade meals from Eva’s Cafe. The hot tub is a great addition to this property and during the summer the pool is amazing. The donuts are something everyone should try. Amazing hospitality, property, and amazing sites to see near Eva’s Cafe Schoolhouse Inn!! We will definitely be coming back!

The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom floor was heated! At the restaurant, Eva serves simple, delicious homemade food - including outstanding pastries and desserts (probably the best Linzer cookies I've ever had). The hot tub in the back was lovely. A *great* place either to stay or for a roadside stop if passing by.

Sandor and Eva are two of the sweetest hosts we’ve ever had. The location is amazing, in Round Lake Centre, 5 min walk from all the civilization in a 30min radius. We stayed here, us 2 and our medium dog, to go to Algonquin park and it was perfect.Sandor and Eva stopped at nothing to make our stay the most comfortable possible, including giving us access to a pool, hot tub, charcoal and gas BBQ, and an amazing cafe / restaurant where Eva sells her own homemade pastries, donuts, breakfast and the most delicious schnitzel, with espresso beverages as well.We stayed in the tent. The linens on the bed were pristine and we were given towels and a comfy duvet.We were insanely happy with the quality of this getaway and we will be back soon, with our pup of course :)

Eva's Cafe and Schoolhouse Inn are hidden gems! Our room was beautiful and very spacious. It felt like we were in our own cottage. The outdoor hot tub with beautiful and serene views of the woods, plus a BBQ, pool, and firepit for gave us that summer camping feel. Everything in the room was newly renovated and very clean and comfortable. Eva made a delicious breakfast, and we bought freshly baked, homemade doughnuts to go. Delicious!

The food at Eva's Schoolhouse Inn was outstanding. The amazing Chicken Paprikash was homemade with locally sourced ingredients. The Kremes (cream puff) was out of this world. You need to go to Eva's in Round Lake Centre. The owner/hostess and the cook were very friendly and helpful.

Eva‘s cafe is definitely worth recommending. Even though the electric car charging station only provides 11 kW, you can enjoy an absolutely delicious, freshly prepared mushroom soup in the meantime and take a walk to the lake meanwhile.100% recommendation!

I stopped in for a coffee and ended up grabbing a cream puff —- it was amazing and fresh! Ended up stopping back in for take out dinner and got some cabbage rolls. They were delicious. The people were so great and I can’t wait to share this hidden gem with my husband and family when they visit. Definitely recommend stopping here.
