Chesterville Pharmacy

Today I went to this Pharmacy to pick up my birth control. I went in and was told that I recieved three boxes last visit and that I should still have a box left. I recieved two boxes my last visit. They said I can pay full price for a box to get me by but unfortunately I cannot afford pay full price especially when my insurance should still cover one box. After I said this an Older Man came out and said “well three boxes were signed off so you’re not getting any” he was very rude and could have handled it better. It went from I can pay full price to I’m not getting any birth control what so ever. I was treated like I was a drug addict looking for a fix when I was there for Birth Control. I’ve been using this Pharmacy for YEARS and have never been treated like this until now. Very disappointed.

Everyone here is so helpful and kind! I fill prescriptions for my family monthly with no issue and the pharmacist is always available for advice. They'll even come out to my car in the parking lot if my kids are not well, to bring us the medicine we need!

I have always received excellent help and service for the pharmacy staff. The pharmacist has been way more informative than my own doctor and spent time explaining any prescription I get and answering any questions. Very happy with all the service here.

HORRIBLE pharmacy!Warning you now do not go.I love supporting locally however I have just received a 6 hour transplant surgery and have a prescription for painkillers from my doctor and pharmacy team refused to fill. I have been in severe pain for 10 days now to the point of vomiting, surgeon gave me meds however they did not work. Told pharmacy team that I would gladly return them so I can have the proper meds that work on me as many medications do not however they refused me. They said the needed to speak with my family doctor (who had been with me for 6 years now) which they did for 45 mins and my doctor said they were rude and condescending.I am bed 4 ridden for two months and this has been a living HELL!

Be prepared for a lot of odd behavior at this location masquerading as patient concern. I've had prescriptions questioned, needing calls to the doctor, the doctor having no idea why they need to call, they gave me VERY poor advice at the beginning of the pandemic, they've hassled me regarding my non-standard but biosafety complaint hepa filtered mask... I've never had experiences at any other pharmacy like I've had here, so much so, that I drive 20 minutes further to have my RXs filled somewhere else.

The best pharmacy I have ever dealt with in all my years (90+). Not only on the big things but also on the little things that make prescription label useful. Further, the staff is knowledgeable but a pleasure to deal with.
