48th Avenue Animal Hospital has groomed our big boy (22 lbs) Kingsley for the last 2 years. He gets quite matted over the winter and the groomer does an amazing lion cut. Dr Sharma, the staff, and the groomer are kind, courteous, and extremely well informed. We were very impressed with the cost as it included not only the grooming but sedation and a vet check. They also have loyalty points which makes it so affordable. We will continue bringing Kingsley for his annual grooming

Great service. I am always suspicious of Vets jacking up their prophet by recommending tests and special food that only they have access to sell. I have never had a hint of this from 48th Ave. It's all about the animal 1st and not their pocket-book.

I am so very grateful for all the staff at 48th Ave Animal Hospital.This is where we brought my childhood cats and now as an adult, I still bring all my animals here. I can't imagine ever going anywhere else. The staff are always friendly and compassionate, and I appreciate that during appointments everything is always well explained. I always leave feeling that I understand what's going on with my pets health and am able to make good and informed decisions about their care.

I took both my dogs here for years. Vet knew me well. When my last dog at end of life...he let me down badly at end. EXTREMELY STRESSFUL situation he put me in. I had to get a complete stranger....WHO DROVE FROM NORTH VANCOUVER....NOT 5 mins from ladner!!Worst part was....it took me months after grieving to be able to go into the office crying and let them know how disappointed I was....NOT EVEN A FOLLOW UP PHONE CALL OR APOLOGIES THAT HAPPENED!! Very sad.

Very good first experience/visit. I'm a first time puppy owner I was extremely anxious my puppy was going to be in distress. And as soon as we walked in I was at ease. The receptionist really set the tone, was very friendly, my puppy got comfortable pretty quickly. Answered all my questions, the visit was quick and painless. My puppy did great. This will definitely be my go to vet. :)

We have recently had to request appointments at the 48th Ave Vet Clinic twice and both times we got in very quickly and received excellent care for our dog. The vets appear to be knowledgeable, caring and willing to answer all questions. The staff are kind and attentive. We really appreciated the follow-up call to check on the progress of the patient - our dog.

Great People!We are new here. Our last vet failed us (misplaced record) so we were happy to read reviews and find that 48th allows you to go in with your pet.Really happy to see they were electronic as well.Making an appointment was easy and could be done via the PetDesk app.A resident black cat welcomed us on arrivalOur pup loved the doc and all the techs. Everyone so friendly and offered quotes before services. Prices reasonable very on a Wednesday -. discount day for vaccines.A nice little grassy area beside building to do business and lots of street parkingHighly recommend

I've chosen 48th Avenue as they are local and when I arrived I was admitted at my appointment time and my feline was checked out by the Vet and the problem dealt with in a speedy manner.The staff was friendly and knowledgable and, as the face of any business, that goes a long way for return customers.
