I bought new winter boots for both of my daughters this fall from Knapp's. Both of my girls were happy with their boots - until yesterday. A seam pulled away in the same spot on both boots and it was allowing snow slush into the boots making for very cold little feet. I called Knapp's and they told me I could bring them in with proof of purchase. We did just that the same day. While they did not have the exact same colour of boot in stock they replaced our leaking ones with the same boot model/size in a different colour (colour didn't matter to us) with absolutely no problem. I am very happy they exchanged the faulty ones. We will most definately shop here again.

I made the mistake of coming here to pickup some waterproof boots. I was assured by the salesperson that the pair I had was waterproof. I go home with the box and look it up online to find that they are not in fact waterproof at all. I go back and explain the situation and all I get is a shrug (not even an apology) and an offer to pay them more to buy waterproofing spray which they claim will work. How can anyone take them on their word on this? They never offered to see if they have the actual waterproof model in stock or could order it from the vendor. No returns because their system" only allows for exchanges or store credit. So I can be lied to or fed false information again? If you don't know

Great service and had styles in larger sizes. I always have a hard time finding shoes that fit and I dread shoe shopping,usually having to go to multiple stores. I walked into knapps and was asked if I needed help right away and once I told the girl my size she went and pulled out what she had .I was in and out of there in 10mins with a pair of sandals and running shoes!

The worst return policy! Taking advantage of a customer through covid protocol. Read my story on them before you buy something there. There are other reviews stating the same complaint as well.I was hesitant to buy a pair of blundstone work boots without a toe cap, the staff member that was helping me from the door, due to covid, was pretty new and not very knowledgeable at all, she had to keep checking with the other employees to answer my questions. When I asked her about the return policy she said I had six months. So I bought the boots with a custom toe cap product that I could apply to the boot called tuff toe. After sleeping on it I decided I wanted to find a pair of blundstones with a factory toe cap, which I found and had on hold at a Mister Safety Shoe.When I went to return the boots, the very next day, in the box with nothing opened and with receipt, they said I couldn't it was exchanges or in store credit only. What kind of store in 2021, doesn't have a return option? After explaining to the manager that I was misinformed by one of his obviously new and untrained employees, he neither confirmed nor denied it. Then the manager told me that there's a sign at the till so that customers know this. I said what good is a sign at the till when you brought the debit machine to the door? He responded it is also written on the receipt, to that I responded, what good is that if I have already bought the boots in order to have a receipt?Moral of the story, DO NOT SHOP HERE! Why would you when you can go to numerous other stores that have a significantly better return policy?

First off, this is one of the only places with Redwings boots in-stock. Very hard to find short of going to the USA. Secondly, the staff member I dealt with was very knowledgeable, helpful, polite and patient. Any questions I had were answered with detailed and useful information. The store on its own is worth seeing. Thanks very much for the great new boots!

Do not shop here!I don’t usually leave bad reviews but I have to say something about Knapps. Sorry this is long but needs to be told.My mom bought a pair of New Balance shoes here in May. She tried to do an exchange within their ridiculous “7 day exchange policy “ but instead they ordered the half size down for her to try and told her to take the original ones home until they came in, so she did. She returned when they came in, outside the exchange window, and they were too small. My mom didn’t know what to do. The associate told her she could keep trying the original shoes for up to 30 days inside the house, then exchange or get store credit if they didn’t work out at that point. I returned with her when I came to visit, I live 6 hours away, and they refused quite rudely, sighting the 7 day policy and stating they look “worn”, which they were, inside, as instructed! We asked to speak to the manager and she refused sighting “he was busy”.We left obviously angry and upset, but did not make a scene, though I wanted to.I know NB has a 45 day satisfaction guarantee and that Knapps isn’t honouring it with their poor customer service policy. After calling New Balance, we were directed to return the shoes to one of their stores for a complete refund. Unfortunately the closest store is 1.5 hours from here, but fortunately I am here and can get it done. It’s wonderful that New Balance has this amazing customer service, and my mom isn’t out over $200.We will never set foot in this Knapps store, or any of the other shoe stores associated with them here in Listowel. This store takes advantage of people who can’t get to the city and have nowhere else to shop. Unless you are certain of your purchase, do not buy anything here. Even then I’d drive to the city if you can.

HelloMy husband bought me a beautiful pair of cowboy boots for Christmas from this store. He was convinced to buy the ½ size larger due to the pointed toe and availability of sizes and if did not fit could exchange. Unfortunately they are too big. I tried insoles to see if that would help but they still slip around. To get a good feel I walked around the block. My husband brought them back, they refused to exchange them claiming scuff marks and accused me of “line dancing all night in them”. This is a very false accusation. I am so disappointed. I will never shop at that store again, this is a very expensive item to have that do not fit right. It was for a straight exchange. Their customer service is very lacking. I will be contacting Canada West Boots to let them know how they have treated a customer. Beware before shopping at Knapp's.

As a Type 1 diabetic with foot issues, it's very difficult to find shoes that are comfortable and don't cause any issues. Went in and was greeted by a very friendly associate who took the time needed to find something for my issues. I purchased two pairs of shoes and my feet have never been better. Excellent customer service and products. The shoes aren't cheap but losing your feet are worth it.
