Dr Mark Pogue

Dr. Pogue has been my Optometrist since childhood. He is very good at what he does while also being calming and helpful. As someone with anxiety, this was always very appreciated.I have never had any issue with the front staff as they have also always treated me with warmth and kindness.

Dr. Pogue is absolutely the best!! He is kind, professional, efficient and friendly. He genuinely cares for his patients. Their receptionist is always courteous, pleasant and very efficient.

This is the most efficient, effective and caring professional office I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The admin staff is super efficient and friendly. Dr. Pogue reminds me of the family doctor of years ago. So reassuring, thorough and at the same time time efficient. In all a pleasure to deal with.

After being told by my doctor that I should have an eye exam, I got a last minute appointment at this clinic today due to a cancellation. I attended the clinic and was greeted by the receptionist who was prompt and courteous. I completed the necessary new patient paperwork in five minutes. After a few quick initial tests, I was seen by Dr. Pogue who did the eye exam. He was very professional and made me feel at ease. After the test, he went over the results (which were very good!) and he explained them and made sure I understood what he was telling me. He wrote me a prescription for glasses (if I wanted fancy lenses and frames) but told me that if I was happy with the drug store readers that I was using, that was fine. No pressure to buy glasses at all. I would definitely recommend Dr. Pogue.

Dr. Pogue is absolutely fantastic. He found time to squeeze us in for emergency situations, and always has a kind and pleasant demeanor. Greatly appreciate his service.

I've been going to optometrists almost yearly for the past 16 years, usually with average results, and Dr Pogue is the absolute best. Moved into Orleans back in 2018 and decided to give him a try when I needed a new prescription and I've never had such a positive experience with an eye exam. The office is so friendly and they're very fast and knowledgeable. You won't find anyone better!

Took my wife here for an eye exam. She was really pleased with Dr. Pogue. She said he's very helpful and thorough. It was quite busy at the time of her appointment and she still got in within 15 minutes of waiting. Dr. Pogue genuinely cares about your vision. He's not in it just to sell you glasses like a lot of places these days seem to be. I highly recommend you pay him a visit if you need to get your eyes checked.

We moved to Orleans in 2019. Needed a new optometrist. Dr. Pogue was highly recommended by our family. Husband and I both made appointments for eye exams. We had a great experience. Dr. Pogue and his assistant are very personable. Looking forward to a continued relationship.
