Nicky's Hair Salon & Extension

Absolutely love the work she's done. I showed up after frying my own hair, and she was dedicated to the mission of fixing it. She was able to fix the colour beautifully and we had to cut most of it but we've been working on extensions that I absolutely love! You don't even see them and they blend into my natural hair perfectly. We managed to restore my natural hair and now I have the long luscious blonde hair I've always wanted. She's a professional at what she does, and when I go in for my appointments, it's like visiting a friend hahaha I highly recommend her, especially for hair fiascos like mine!

I was looking for a hairdresser that would style my hair the way I wanted it to look, (not an easy find). I have been walking out of hairdresser shops feeling less than excited, and sometimes out right dissapppointed. I took a chance with Nicky because of her great reviews. I was so happy to see that she actually listened and styled me according to my particular hair and look as well as taking time to treat me like I mattered. Going back for sure.

I am incredibly thankful for nicky. It was a sunday and I was really in need of a haircut. My ends were split, my hair was flat and overall I was just not loving it and every single place was closed, I was getting desperate. I called nicky and she took me in even on her time off! Wonderful woman, has a lovely personality and makes you feel like a friend. My hair was very damaged before hand from dye and bleach but she has made my hair go from dead and flat to fluffy and healthy! I will definitly be returning when my hair gets grown out. Thank you so much nicky!

Amazing hairdresser! Knows what she's doing and has life experience! Amazing at assessing the cut and style for your face shape and personality. Did an amazing job on my daughter's hair and mine. Would recommend.

First time at Nicky’s tonight. She accommodated my appt time request as it was short notice.I showed her a picture of what I wanted and within an hour VOILA! It was reality. I thought she was very knowledgeable in her skills and very personable. I loved the result. My husband said it was very nice!! So thank you Nicky!!

First time with Nicky today. The running theme with the positive reviews is that Nicky genuinely cares about what she produces, and that was my experience as well. I have been growing out a short mohawk for some months now, but it was time to trim it as it was growing out uneven. The plan is a long bob, with the lower half of the head shaved for a glam look when down, and a Rock & Roll look when up. I was dreading getting it trimmed because in my personal experience, stylists ALWAYS cut a short hairstyle much shorter than what I ask for. So I went in, asking her to just even out my hair and not touch the length; I didn't want to undo the progress I'd made. She humoured me, started out by cutting only what I asked, then reviewing. Every time we did, I agreed with her recommendations to cut a bit more, then add some layering, then some texturizing. But she did it in baby steps, adjusting to my comfort level, and gaining my trust. In the end, I left with an actual hairstyle, and not just something I have to tolerate while it grows out. So pleasantly surprised with this outcome and it's all down to Nicky's patience and obvious skill. I will be returning AND recommending her to family and friends. With respect to the negative reviews, keep in mind there is such a thing as writing bad reviews, and blackmailing for money to take them down. A couple of negative reviews here strike me as such, as they are so hyperbolic as to be truly unbelievable when factoring in the positive ones.
