I wish i could give 6 stars if i could based on my wonderful experience here. A large group of friends and I decided to check this place out on New Year's Eve. Their decor makes you feel at home, they have a unique scent diffuser and chairs are comfy.As for the food, everything was delicious. Ethiopian cuisine involves using your hands so be prepared to get messy! The meat was very tender on our platters and the wraps given to pick up the food are soft and blends well with the saucy spices.The service was spot on. Our server was the last one left in the restaurant after the owners greeted us and wished us a happy new years before exiting. They constantly supplied us with napkins and asked if everything was okay. Worried for our server's sake we asked them what time they close, they replied 8pm when it was already 7:30pm and we barely touched our food. We told them not to worry we'll eat fast. To which they said stay until 11pm if you'd like, take your time. Simply amazing service. Will definitely visit this great local restaurant again.

Went to Danforth location. The food was ok. Nothing special. Portions small. Prices high. Service slow. Took long time for the food to arrive and it was not busy. Multiple times had to ask for water refill.

Loved the veggie platter and more flavourful than most ethiopean restos I've been too. The beets were a bit undercooked but other than than everything was delicious and the server was really nice.

The meal my friends and I shared was delicious! We had the veggies platter and a meat dish on the side. We truly enjoyed it and we cannot wait to go back

Top tier service and food. Our waitress helped us tremendously pick out foods to try and was very attentive. If in Toronto visit this restaurant!

This place needs a lot of improvement! They’re understaffed, badly! The amount of times we had to ask for water and utensils to be brought to our table was outrageous. The food was not good either, what was shown on the menu and what we got looked like 2 completely different things. The price was quite expensive as well considering the amount of food you get and the quality. They did have free wifi however, as well as washrooms and outdoor seating which was a plus. Very limited on parking space though. I won’t be back and I wouldn’t recommend this place either!

We ordered the meat platter and vegetarian platters combinedThere was SO much food, we were stuffed and needed to have a take-away bag for the leftoversThe food is wonderfully aromatic but not spicyThey provide a spicy melange on the side, be careful it's crazy hot if you use too muchThe service is warm and very helpfulOh! One more thing... your expected to eat with your hands. It's a lot of funEnjoy!
