I highly recommend the academy for anyone looking to learn martial arts, self-defense, discipline, and fitness. The coaches are knowledgeable, patient, and skilled and have created an inclusive, supportive, family-like community. My kids and I have been attending for several years and have seen a huge improvement in technique and overall health. The facility is well-equipped and always clean. If you're looking for a great jiu jitsu experience, this academy is where you need to be!

MNBJJ HQ Academy (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu)
I have been to a few different gyms to try and learn Jiu Jitsu, but since training with MN I have found their classes really build on each other. The best thing about it is the times to train are flexible. I appreciate that they have a standard curriculum and all the instructors follow it, which is great to review the concepts after learning them. I know with some gyms you might learn something and not see it again for a while. I definitely feel like I have improved a lot in a short time.

I have moved around in the past few years and experienced multiple BJJ schools. MNBJJ has a fantastic Fundamentals curriculum for new white belts and I have noticed a lot of improvement in a short time because we drill the basic movements every class. Great culture and very welcoming to new students. Highly recommended!

When we decided to put our son into BJJ, my husband did a lot of searching to find the best places. MNBJJ was our top choice. Now, after having him in for over 8 months, I couldn’t be happier. I’m always impressed by their professionalism, level of instruction, and the real community they’re building.They don’t just know BJJ, they know kids and how to connect. My son is learning life lessons, progressing nicely in the sport, feeling increasingly more confident, and senses he belongs. We can’t wait for our youngest to start next!

I've been training at MNBJJ for a few years now, and I absolutely love it. Professor Marcio and the entire staff are incredibly knowledgeable and do a fantastic job of breaking down techniques and concepts for students of all levels. The gym itself has a spacious and well-equipped training area, and what sets them apart is the wide range of classes they offer throughout the day. Whether you're a morning person, prefer lunchtime sessions, or can only make it in the evening, they have options that make it super convenient to train. If you're a Jiu Jitsu enthusiast, this place is a total winner!

A true community & family! I’ve been training here 1.5 years now and all the coaches, staff & members are amazing! I bring two of my kids to train as well and we feel like we’re part of a family. Prof. Marcio Nunes has built something very special here and anyone who joins will be transformed by the experience. A top notch school all the way. They follow a structured curriculum and offer private lessons as well. A welcoming environment for all ages and I would recommend it to my family & friends!

Having been at another gym previously, I can’t say enough about how welcoming the MNBJJ is. I have been at Marcio’s for a year and a half and it’s my forever gym. The coaching staff has always been very personable and friendly - all have their own style and flare. Most of the members are very nice and friendly. Morning class with coach Eddie has a special vibe to it. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a long term home for their BJJ journey.
