Baie Vista Inn

By far the most disgusting place I've ever stayed at. It was like stepping into the 1970's same sheets and all. There were a few stains on one of our beds as well as the chairs. I checked for bed bugs which is something I never thought I would do. I could go on and on but a word to the wise is don't even consider staying there.

Smoking rooms make the hotel stink. We stayed in a non smoking room that smelled of cigarettes. Barely any food options at the hotel. Staff were friendly. Only reason they get a 3 star.

The hotel is nice. Rooms have AC, HDTV, and some small appliances (mini fridge, microwave). The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is a restaurant and bar on the hotel. The food and prices are good. There are also several restaurants within a several minute drive.

Rooms were clean, a little on the older side but serviceable if you need a place to sleep. The shower and sinks were a little touchy but the water pressure was good and hot as well. There is also a bar and pub on site.

Stayed in a renovated room. Had a comfy bed and restful sleep. Front desk clerk was super friendly. Wonderful little community.

I didn't even want to give this place 1 star...we called multiple time to confirm we are a family of 4 and need 2 beds and a kitchen, not a problem. Checked in and only 1 bed and they kindly threw a mattress on the floor, absolutely no room to move around and my kids are miserable because the internet doesn't work. When I kindly asked to speak with the manager not only did she have no empathy, she actually said...and I quote we have bent over backwards enough to accommodate your hockey team".Enough said

Nice place just needs a few fixes. Room I had needs new shower head badly. Heater made a loud buzzing sound. Mini fridge was rattling loud so I had to unplug. Other than that it was clean and friendly staff.

BE AWARE!! They didn’t honour the price they gave us the day before. We called and he gave us a price per night and everything seams to be OK. Arrived at the reception, she got all the information and gave us the key to the room.Next morning by check out the price was about 38% higher then when we talked to the guy the day before. Her explanation was that yesterday at check in they didn’t had the quoted room available and that is why they up graded us to a different room. WHAT IS THIS???If you do a mistake you should have the decency to tell us at check in or honour the price when we check out.

For a motel pretty good. Clean, with AC in room, bathroom.Small bar downstairs that serves chicken fingers and stuff (limited food selection, but fine for a bar). Beer and liquor selection a bit limited, but for the size of bar not bad.

The service was not great, the girl at the counter mixed up keys between the people in our family and a bunch of us ended up with the completely wrong rooms, and i had someone banging on my door an hour before check out time asking if we were checking out that day, which i found strange, we still had plenty of time to check out so im not sure why they were knocking asking us to hurry up.The room that we ended up in was beautiful, no complaints there.The location isn't great either, there isn't much going on in Baie Verte, but it is a good place to stay to drive around and check out the other small towns around which do have some beautiful scenery and tourist attractions. I especially recommend visiting Coachmans Cove and checking out the old bread oven. There is a walking trail nearby there. Mings Bight is a beautiful little town as well that I recommend checking out!
