With someone with zero experience with coding, but ideas to implement apps in my field, I came out of this course confident in my ability to have the basic skills to develop front and back end. With the knowledge that I have now, I can communicate with developers to make the apps that I want. The course was easy to follow and went at a good rate. Practice makes perfect, so if you practice the skills you should be able to start developing right away. Great course overall, in 6 weeks learnt more than I thought I could.

My 10 year old twin boys thoroughly enjoyed the coding classes. The instructor was very thorough and very patient. If you have kids that have an interest in coding/creating an app, then this would be a great course to sign them up for.

I highly recommend taking courses offered by the Surrey Digital Academy and any workshops offered by Harish. He makes coding accessible and fun for all ages and experience. I would highly recommend if you are considering a career in software development or want to further develop your skills. The smaller class size makes the course very tailored to your needs.The Coding Fundamentals for building web app course was a very well-run 12 week program, where you learn how to build and deploy a professional, data-driven website using various applications. We went through the full stack development process and also merged different data sources such as API and csv. It was great to learn from someone who is in the industry but also has a passion for teaching and sharing his expertise.

My 11 year old son has just finished learning level-1 of the Coding program offered by Surrey Digital Academy and is looking forward to do the next level. As a parent, I am really pleased to see how excited my son is to log in to every online class, how much he has learned and how passionate he is getting about coding. The Founder & Head Instructor, Mr. Harish Raisinghani is a thorough professional. He is very knowledgeable and extremely supportive. Harish maintains transparent communication with families, knows his subject well and most importantly, is a caring teacher who works to being a positive difference to the learning of his students.The online classes happen twice a week in a group size of 3-4 kids to an instructor. The courses are reasonably priced and offer great value. Totally recommend!

Our experience with Surrey Digital Academy and Harish in particular was exceptional. The service, from the start of our conversations over email to the actual classes themselves, was fantastic. I honestly cannot say enough great things about the company, instructors and the experience. Our son was 7 going on 8 for this Intro to Python class and, while he enjoyed it, we had to help him quite a bit as some of the content was just a little too complex for him. This is not a criticism on the course or the content, both are great. We are excited to go through this class again in a year or so and I think my son will get even more out of it the second time around. We will be back!

I have always wanted to learn coding but did not know where to start. I tried a few online courses, but they did not help that much. Hence, I decided to give Surrey Digital Academy a try. I must admit, I had an amazing experience during the course. A course like this was exactly what I was looking for that I could not find online.I took this course with no experience in programming. After the completion of the course, I can definitely say I have a good grasp of the fundamentals of coding. The lectures based around a completing a project were very well organised and easy to understand. At no time during the course, I felt like I was lost.Harish, the instructor, was always well prepared for the lectures and very patient and helpful with all his students. He made the lectures fun and time flew by while I learned to code.Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely recommend everyone in the area to give it a try. Surrey Digital Academy completely lives up to its tagline that “Anyone can code”.

Our 11 yr old Daughter enjoyed this course very much because she actually wrote lines of code in the Python Level 1 course with Surrey Digital Academy. The instructors are great and provide the right level of guidance and challenge. Much better than some of the other programs she has attended in the past that use scratch etc.

Excellent experience. I am a beginner to programming and this course is exactly what I needed. The content was adequate and complete. The project based learning material was straight forward enough to be able to follow with a little help. The notes were well written. I would (probably will) redo the course just to go through the experience again. Lastly, the instructor, Harish, was as patient as he was competent and a great instructor. Well done.

I came into this course with zero coding skills - just a basic understanding of the fact that this is where the future lies. Just after six weeks, I have a good grasp of the basic concepts and a wealth of resources I can utilize to continue my learning.Harish was a diligent and patient instructor and a great resource, helping me navigate as I decide what to pursue further based on my personal and professional needs.I was also appreciative to see that the course material was continuously adapted to our cohort's needs and skill level. Overall - this was a great experience to learn and network with like-minded individuals!

Surrey Digital Academy is a must for anyone who wants to build a basic foundation with coding. Harish is very patient and invested in the success of his students. Surrey Digital Academy is a service to the community and I would recommend it to anyone with interest in the Lower Mainland. This stuff should be taught in school.
