It's September 2020 and I am finalizing my closing on a presale condo. In 2017 I attended a Real Estate Seminar where I first became acquainted with REC Canada Real Estate. I recall meeting Simeon Papailias for the first time. Only having just met him, he treated us like he had known us for years! I was impressed with his open, jovial, warm and engaging personality. Simeon took a personal interest in ensuring all our questions were answered to our satisfaction and hours later we left feeling like we had known Simeon for years! After signing off on our unit we continued to interact with REC via email as additional questions came up. For over two and a half years Laura Stewart was our REC contact who is always positively responsive in answering our questions. Not only did she answer in the same day but usually in the same hour. Thank you Laura for taking such excellent care of us! During this time we became acquainted with Jas Takhar via the REC weekly podcast experience on you tube. Jas you light up our weekends with your vibrant positive exuberant nature - never mind the stellar quality of guests that continue to educate us yet not even charging a cent!. Furthermore, I live in BC and now that my unit is closing I cannot personally attend to pick up my keys or find a tenant. REC once again has stepped up to the plate and Simeon is arranging to find a qualified tenant which REC will manage for the year as a complimentary service! One cannot find this Gold Star service anywhere else in Canada! This is our second successful sale with Zach Galbraith and we are extremely happy and would highly recommend him to any investors out there that require guidance on their real estate journey. He offered us full-service from start to finish. After, we decided that we would like to renovate and sell, he assisted us at every level. He helped negotiating a fair and amicable deal with our existing tenants, arranged appointments with contractors to obtain estimates to start the Reno’s to be ready for the fall market. The entire REC team is stupendous at whatthey do. Many companies tell you that as a client you are a member of their family but this organization really means it. From the Managing Partners (Jas and Simeon) to the Sales Representative Laura Stewart and Tyler in the Concierge area, they are there at every turn, meeting your questions and concerns right away, taking all the time you need so that you always go away fully satisfied. katie needs to take a course on landlord and tenant law. she sent a threatening letter to my friend which was not legaledit: there is no misunderstanding. your employee katie sent a threatening letter to a tenant of her client telling them that she can not have guests over and that they must either a) add them to the lease and a new lease would be created and rent would be required from them or b) they vacate the suite and do not come back (this is what she said was her preference) or c) that they find another rental unit. this is against the law. she has no legal right to tell them that they can not have guests over. you also mention your policies, if this is indeed an actual policy of your company, that is illegal.

My husband and I can't say enough nice things about the REC team! We worked with Jacob throughout August-October 2020 to purchase our dream home and we are extremely happy not only with the purchase, but the professionalism, courtesy, responsiveness, and genuine care that we experienced working with him. Whenever we had questions (which was very frequent!), Jacob would respond right away and would address everything promptly. If Jacob wasn't available, he would let us know immediately and would have Alla contact us. We were always in very good hands with both of them and felt taken care of every step of the way. I've had the pleasure of interacting with REC in-person and watching REC regularly on several social platforms since the beginning of 2020. Members of the group have always made themselves available and approachable to me. I had never purchased any real estate and I was new to investing when I began my relationship with them. They speak with me on my level to communicate balanced information that is most applicable to me. REC has been critical in helping me achieve short term goals and setting me up for maximizing long term benefits.Some of the things I've done with REC are consultation meetings on my investment goals, purchase a duplex home, purchase a preconstruction condo, and prepare paperwork with regards to my first tenants. They have also recommended tradespeople that fixed multiple issues when I was legalizing my duplex. The relationship will continue for years.
