Calvary Baptist Church

I have been incredibly blessed by this church and their biblical, unwavering theology; they stay true to Gods word and teach the truth. This church truely cares for its congregation and is so full of love, love for the Father, and love for His people. They have an amazing worship team and such great outreach programs.

It is human nature to massage words and meanings so it will justify our desires. The world bombards us with messages that are in stark contrast to God's desire for us. Just do what you want as long as it feels good to you. That God is all about love and acceptance and He would want you to be happy. God's love does not equate to embracing sin. God's love is so deep that he will tell us the truth. Even if that truth may cause people to turn from Him because it's not what they want to hear or how they want to live. We have free will to choose our path in this life. If you do not wish to follow God's will that is entirely your choice. At Calvary, I consider myself immeasurably blessed to be in a church where our Pastors love God so much and love their flock so much that they will not sugar coat the truth. The bible tells us that the world will hate us. But we know we walk this walk shielded in the armour of God.

Lovely place to worship. The choir is amazing.

The pastoral staff are honest, kind and helpful. Everyone I've met has been friendly and caring.Calvary takes scripture seriously and communicates it to everyone in a way that makes it easier to understand and properly apply to our own lives. Fellowship is also important and the Church strives to connect fellow believers in a constructive way despite potential differences in opinion on non-core issues.

Enjoyed the fellowship at the men's dinner. Food was excellent. The word was amazing. Thx

Clear preaching of the whole of Gods word, diverse church community , great worship service. Engaging with the community with summer and weekly programs for the children and the family. Every Father's day includes a car show and BBQ. Standing up for Jesus Christ and making disciples for Him.

I’ve been attending this church for years. They teach the bible in a way that it is applicable to everyday life, and help those struggling in their sin. The pastoral staff and ministry workers helped me through hard times and reminded me of God when my sin was blinding me from seeing His beauty.I love the support they offer through Discipling Groups and many other ministries.

The world God is simplified here, good doctrine is taught to kids and very family oriented church.

I love this church ! I live in Woodbridge and come to this church every Sunday . Pastor Rick changed my life and was one of the agents that made me born again !This church is my life and I can’t get enough of the worship , the word, and the love !
